He is going to be 28 next season. I've been very critical; I am a goaltender who's best years are WAY behind him, but I've learned a tremendous amount. Andersen's major liability, to me, is that he over commits in too many instances, and tends to end up in a position where he can't backup an initial save. Long story short; too much swimming. I hope the Leafs have a goaltending teaching staff that's capable of coaching some of the bad habits. The overtime and shootout loss stats speak for themselves.

Useless as tits on a bull...We had a great chance but he has destroyed it.

You gotta know F.A. lives up to his initials. Buzzkills his bench and the fans. Poor management decision taking this sieve.

Gonna be a $7 million backup for the Marlies. The Leafs have no hope with this loser.

Once again this guy looks like he's on tranquilizers. 2 goals on 3 shots. We would really go far if we had a goalie.

The first goal he had no chance on. The next 2 were his fault 100%. He was solely responsible for the game 1 loss.

See message from March 1st. Again, all he had to do was stay on his feet and hug the post. This time it cost his team a playoff game. Who the hell coaches this idiot?

The Leafs will get nowhere until they get a goalie, and Andersen is definitely not the guy. He's useless!

Here we go again, the guy sucks overall, another easy win and the guy is asleep

Andersen would be great if the top of the net was 2 and a hal feet lower.
You suck!

Well, there's a surprise... Andersen loses yet another shootout... Record now 1-8 for the star goalie...

Stupid butterfly; shooter on a very tight angle. All the dumb Dane had to do was stay on his feet to leave nothing to shoot at. Game over wit 1:23 remaining. I will happily drive him to the airport of his choosing.

OT loss saved the pain of another shootout. Please get rid of this chump.

Ginger needs to have a better save pct ( his is .500) in shootouts for Toronto to be competitive.

Shootout record 1-7

Played a decent game; lost another shootout without stopping anything. As predicted in last post.

He has poor fundamental skills. He butterflies every shot no matter the situation. He goes for pucks he can't reach in goalmouth scrambles and ends up swimming the breast stroke. He's too deep in the crease (low confidence) and his angles are horrible. When the games go to a shootout the Leafs have lost all but one game. He is worn out and hasn't played more than 45 games in his life. Bad managerial decision;I don't think they have or have had anyone who knows goaltending in a very long time. Andersen will end up as one very expensive Marlie at best. He's not the guy.

Leafs lose because Andersen can't see the puck I also blame Babcock for not pulling him
