Last season was a cakewalk . . . Detroit, KC . . . if the Falcons had lost those games they should have packed it up. The Falcons have an tough schedule coming up in 09, this will show what Matt and the team are made of because these Defenses are unsympathetic. Now other teams will study him on tape. Ryna is not a threat, teams weill learn how to contain Michael Turner and Roddy White, who DEVELOPED over the last several years and was not at that point when Vick was with the Falcons. Matt seems to be a good, clean cut guy, but he is an average QB with a better supporting cast than Vick had. The Falcons drafted him to start him, because unfortunately Arthur is all about image. And the huge mistake is that thousands of the Fans could care less - that is why many did not renew season tickets. Sponsors had to buy tickets to keep the games televised. The Falcons will market Gonzalez to the diverse community of Atlanta, but this is not going to work. Agree they need to rethink the Vick situation. |

I would like to send a message to Matt, but don't know how so I figured this was the best way. A friend of mine past away this pat week at 38 years old. He was a huge fan of the Atlantaca Falcons, we didn't know why because we are 60 miles north of Pittsburgh. Any way he was buried wearing a Matt Ryan Falcons's jersey , given to him on the day he passed away , as a Christmas present by his 15 year old son,Kyle and a Falcons hat. Mark was a single father her who strived to tach his son, the true meaning of sports. Mark was a wonderful, giving to a fault man who was taken away to early. vick broke his leg in his second year and never started as a rookie. matt Ryan has had a better rookie year than hall of famers Dan marino and Phil Simms. and no F'N QB that could run a 4.29 has ever one a super bowl |

matt ryan is what the falcons needed. vick kept digging us into a deeper hole of B.S. it was all about the money. i have faith in matt. vick lost it in the end. he had a lot of talent & wasted it!!!!!!!!!! anyone who thinks matt ryan sucks must be a racist. take a your dog killin 4.2 sec a**hole. & i'll watch my falcons keep gettin better & better |

In observing Ryan, he is just another basic QB. I believe that his patterns from BC will definitely follow him as the rubber meets the road in the NFL and the going gets tough. NFL Defenses have no mercy, and will definitely cause him to lose his mind during pass rushes. Atlanta made a huge mistake in bringing him in, instead they could have utilized Redman. Their record will be close/worse to what it was last season. Wasted bonus money on Ryan! Easy money for him. Atlanta Falcons organization should re-think this Vick thing because Atlanta would support him if he were allowed to return. Blank is a Sales guy, too worried about image which is why they got Ryan and it was defnitely not to develop a winning team. They are trying to erase Vick - not going to happen! Vick is a superstar. |

Also went to some falcons training camp practice scrimmages and he did awful... Out of like 10 pass attempts he threw 2 short completions and an interception |

Matt Ryan is awful, hist 1st preaseason game every throw he passes is terribly inaccurate, luckily for him his receivers made great catches and made him look good. 2nd preseason game....awful.. Falcons have been my fav team for some time now but this draft pick is Matt Ryan and some other moves they could have made but didnt really have me questioning this teams intentions. Vick FTW '09 |

matt ryan is easily the most overrated qb in the whole draft he played in a decent conference that had a mediocre year he is a master of the choke i hope the dolphins get him so they dont ever win again |
