To put an end to everyone's curiosity Petr is doing well and playing well in Austria. They are wrapping up their final week of preseason games. Petr should know by Sept 15th whether or not he is signed for the remainder of the year. There are 4 guys including Petr that are still battling for a spot on the roster 3 forwards and 1 defenseman. Hi Petr, My daughter Caitlin, 9, hopes you play with the Monarchs in the 2008-2009 season. You know her as "your #1 girl fan". You are her "hero" and inspired her to want to go to more games each season and I looked forard to our Father/Daughter nights. I'm sure you can appreciate that with your own daughter. It really meant alot for you to take time during the summer to sign the two 8x10 photos of you and Caitlin in both your #10 Kanko jersey(s). We have it frmaed and in the living room for all to see. And the puck you gave her during the warnups made a lasting impression. on the way home said looked up at the full moon and said, "Dad, see the moon...every time I'll see a full moon, it will remind me of the best night of my life". The puck was on her pillow when she went to sleep. I was astonished when the night of the "jersey off the back" after the game you recognized her you skated over to her and shook her hand. (that hand was not able to be washed during bathtime that night). This week Caitlin is doing a "Hero report". yes you are her subject. Petr, if you read this contact us and we can send you a copy.
