Alex Giroux is by far my favorite hockey player. I'm tired of seeing him get the short end of the stick( no pun intended). He deserves to play on the NHL and if I had the power he would be. Washington royally screwed up when they let him walk away for next to nothing. "G" you received an amazing ovation when you returned to Hershey for the all star game!! You must not follow hockey at all. Just players, huh? LMAO FYI they don't give them a "few days" to go home. Once a player clears waivers then, he has to report to the AHL affiliate. Even with a 1-way contract, Alex is valuable as a call-up to Edmonton. I'm psyched for the new season and he's a cute addition! Go Barons!

He can go to Europe, I'm not sure how but he mentioned something with his agent. He had already signed in Russia but then he got the deal with Edmonton. Alex does not want to continue in the AHL. He is at that age where he's ready to move on if he is not making the NHL.

Well like I said it's not serious with the girl, they are just getting to know each other. Why do you girls get so bent out of shape if he has interest in a girl?

He cannot go to Europe. He's under contract and he would be sent to play in the AHL. Alex is very good friends with my brother and I've know him for many years. The other poster is correct when she said there's no girl that's getting to know him better right now. He's focused on playing and I've got my fingers crossed that he sticks with the big club!

Well if he doesn't make the club rumors are he's heading to Europe and YES there is a girl that has caught his attention.I'm not saying it serious so relax I'm just saying he's having a good time getting to know her better.
