So the faggot Federer won another Grand Slam title without having to face Nadal. No wonder it boosted his confidence way up. He knows that he just got lucky and that Nadal is the only one who can beat him. Calling him the greatest ever is a bunch of baloney. Rod Laver would have kicked his pansy arse any day of the week. |

I totally agree with the poster below! As much as I dislike Roddick, he really surprised me with his play today. Roddick will be haunted by that 2nd set tie break he should have won. Again, Roger, you got lucky. Your record breaking slams mean nothing for you did not go through NADAL.....he is coming back better and stronger than ever......WATCH OUT! |

Federer sucks indeed. The best tennis player in the world? ever? why? Rodick today played better tennis and imho should have won, but then again this is a game an as such luck plays a role on it. Federer had luck on his side today. I look forward for Rafa to come back an keep him where he belongs, number 2. Vamos Rafa! |

Federer is the greatest. Consider this: He played a field that contained multiple slam winners and world number 1's and former top pros. To say that andy roddick, andre agassi, lleyton hewitt (to name a few) were considered a weak field shows disrespect. He plays every match with grace and fluidity, and doesn't just roll over and give up. He can beat nadal. He beat nadal this year on clay. Even if rafa had gotten to the finals of roland garros, federer would still have beaten him, with the tremendous leaps he has made to improving his game. He makes the game look simple and easy, representing us as a realistic champion of natural skill and grace. Players like nadal lack the character and charisma of federer in representing the sport withou jeopardizing the image. |

Sampras and Agassi at their peak were much better than Federer. Federer played his career against one of the weakest fields with players his own age as Sampras and Agassi were on the backend of their careers. No doubt Federer stats are cushioned by a weak overall field. |

21 straight grand-slam finals... that's every single semi for about 5 consecutive years. Now that's a record that won't be beat for a very, very long time. Every other player in the world wish they "sucked" as much as Federer. |

His French Open victory may have been the monkey off his back, but the real monkey on his back is named RAFAEL NADAL. It was only when Nadal was injured that it cleared the way for Federer to win the French.....the same can be said for Wimbledon (which I hope Murray wins). When Nadal is healthy, WATCH OUT!
