....I hate to even wish the kind of mental torture resulting from blowing match point in the 07 wimb final...on 'myworst enemy' think about that one much....good thing roddick can pound his hot wife and pass out ...until the night terrors kick in 5 min later..... you suck roddick! way to be a poor poor mans shitty leyton hewitt! you suck

Beginning of the End.... was  to Vincent Spadea in the semis of the now defunct scottsdale franklin tempelton....he had that on his mind when he missed the backhand volley a couple years later vs fed in the wimbledon final lol...ouch...

He sucks so bad. I don't claim to know a lot about tennis, but his name is not even mentioned among the greats anymore--hasn't been for awhile. There is no one for America to root for. Unless you want to try your hand at Mardy Fish. No, we are forced to choose between a robot-like Swiss with a gay headband or that wife-beater wearing cro magnon pompous Catalunyan (what a d*$!).

I take that back. Well, Federer is like a robot, and his athletic wear logo sucks, but he does have a nice tennis game. And at least he doesn't have a wussy two-handed backhand like Roddick. What a piece of crap. I would expect that from Chris Evert.

Dude, it's time to hang it up, Andy. You are the freakin' Tim Henman of the United States. You don't want to be that guy.

did you see Andy Roddick play againt Andy Murray at BNP Paribas Masters 2011 in Paris, France? Roddick got his ass kicked so bad. it was pitiful to watch Roddick get into rallies with Murray and lose every rally. Roddick has the worst ground strokes among the pro tennis players. He wasn't able to hit winners off his ground strokes. His current coach, Larry Stefanki, must be one of the dumbest tennis coachs if he isn't able to see what Roddick can do or can't do. Larry Stefanki shouldn't kiss Roddick's ass just to save his job as a coach but spend more time to help Roddick improve his ground strokes. Please stop Roddick to use his back hand slice any more. it never worked and never will. i don't know what happened between Brad Gilbert & Andy Roddick but Brad Gilbert was the best coach to Andy Roddick.

Andy should retire and stop embarrassing himself and the rest of US fans. if he wants to continue playing tennis, he should fire his coach who coached Andy to his grave and watch Federer or Djokovic play on Youtube and start wondering why they are better tennis players than himself. if he can't figure out why he couldn't complete with them, he is too dumb to play the sport. wake up! andy! your no pace ground strokes including backhand slice and wobbly net play are worse than mine.

absolutely no class, grow up you baby, i just was trying to root for him at the shanghai masters because his career seems to be ending and i always root for the underdog, and he starts losing a match a bit and he mouths off the young asian ball boy for not giving him the towel quick enough, this guy does charity work? what a joke! how bout treating your fellow man with some respect as a start, i know not all americans are like this but this guy is makin the U.S. look bad, along with serena as well, this seems to be a big pattern, i saw a top 10 the other day on sports centre of the top tennis outrages, theyre all american...mcenroe, connors, s. williams, v.williams, roddick, tarango, but wow how embarrassing, how has this not been addressed before?

Nadal and Djokovic play to win.  So does Federer but he also wants to play beautifully.  I don't get that same feeling from Roddick.  He just looks like he wants to get out there and hit the ball like crazy, whether he's serving or hitting with his forehand. If he wins, which rarely happens, great but killing the ball does not earn him slams.  Even his look communicates "Must hit tennis ball with all my might!"

If you want to be a tennis player and you're named Andy you should probably just quit.  0 Grand Slams for Andy Murrray and just one Slam for Andy Roddick 8 years ago. So many people thought Roddick was following in the footsteps of Connors, McEnroe, Sampras and Agassi. Instead he became our version of Marat Safin.  At least Safin won 2 Slams...

Roddick is an embarrassment for U.S. tennis. Just retire and go back to Texas. I have no support for his game or his presence in international competition. All that makes people hate this country.

I wish the official had more authority.  It is clear Roddick has much more pull than the official.  It should be made clear that no player can insult an official the way he did.  Roddick is going to be one miserable person when he is out of the game and no one gives a hoot about what he has to say.  I have never seen a bigger jerk on the tennis court with the possible exception of McEnroe.
