Great serve, ugly two handed backhand, average forehand, shit volleys, shittier attitude. If he doesn't win a point on the serve, all he can hope for is an unforced error from the other guy, because almost every time he starts approaching the net, he gets passed, and when its time to duke it out from the baseline, he never hits a high quality cross court winner that'll make your jaw drop, just a few winners up the lines that his opponents basically give em. I'd take Venus's net game over Roddick's any day, and twice on super sundays. With all the classy people in tennis, all over the world, let alone his own country, makes me sick this guy gets to wear the #1 us player tag. This is our ambassador? Great job keeping the yank stereotype going Andy!!! |

One thing that really pissed me off is during one of his games at the Australian Open. Someone in the crowd kept calling out as Andy as trying to serve. The umpire kept asking for quiet. Fair enough that Andy was annoyed, but he launched a verbal tirade at the umpire for not throwing the person out. What is the umpire supposed to do? How can you throw someone out when you don't know who it is? There were 1500 people in the audience, it could've been any one of them. The umpire kept trying to tell Andy this, but he would have none of it, he even went as far as telling the umpire, "It's a shame you're in charge!" Yes, Andy is a great player, he's he might be a nice guy off the court, but he needs to learn some sportsmanship. If I were his mother I'd be embarrassed. |

I am SO sick of Roddick. I've rooted for him for years. I know he played a good match, but HE STILL LOST!! Roddick is a loser and always will be a loser. I don't like to root for losers.
