It's no bandwagon that's blaming Fleury. I've been watching him all season and he can be brilliant in one game and suddenly let in everything that comes his way. People have always had a problem with his consistency, this is not new. Suddenly we can't say anything about him tho, b/c he won the Stanley Cup? Sorry, I've had to listen to every other player on the squad get blamed for alot less.
If his finger is still bothering him, then he should not be playing. Johnson is more than capable as a back-up. Right now I'm going to blame it on everyone looking ahead to the Olympics.
At the risk of drawing ire, b/c no one ever wants to blame him, but I've been worried about Fleury all season. Right now everyone is blaming the defense, but seriously they are doing all they can plus worrying if the goalie will make a save, even on a soft shot. Yesterday's loss I put on Fleury's shoulders, and THAT is why I am worried about the playoffs. And let's just get the Olympics over with! I'm already predicting Gonchar will come back to us injured...
I see we have some Caps fans dropping in, hiding behind anonymity. How nice, just like their team is.
I just wanted to say I'm somewhat alarmed and discouraged the wave of faux Pens fans that I've run into on Facebook. These are chickies who like players on other teams...but then they actually start cheering against the Pens! Last week one such chickie was bragging aobut her supposed huge collection of Pens tee and jerseys, yet yesterday during the game her statuses were all in support of the Caps. I just find it discouraging and somewhat annoying.
I am officially worried about the playoffs. We can't hold onto a lead.....
Guess who the February mustache boy is....again....

Tri-City is supposedly part of the WHL--Western Hockey League which I believe is a junior league. The only reason I know of the league is that another Pen played junior there, for a team in Saskatchewan that I no longer see listed.

Ukrainian Hockey Federation named Pittsburgh #Penguins forward Ruslan Fedotenko its Hockey Player of the Year in 2009.
Thansk, MK, that's a nice bit of news about Ruslan.
I'm encouraged to see the "awesome" line back together and playing more like we know they can. Scoring to come...soon!
