I just want to type something because I am on another level right now. And for lack of something better to do. I want to take up for my friend and this is very entertaining....People have skeletons in their closets. Who are we to judge and post negative and slanderish comments when I know we all have been promiscuous at some point in our lives. Some more than others. What we need to do is support and encourage the attempts to change made by this couple. If they can move foward then so can you.

I personally dated him for a short time back in 2006 (4 or 5 months). He was nothing but a gentleman the entire time. He is actually very polite, very outgoing, and hilarious. We had a great time! Dating an athlete, or anyone with any kind of status has it's pros and cons just like dating a normal guy. I will say that I was COMPLETELY unaware of WHO he was until after about a month of seeing eachother. I imagine he made no effort to tell me because while he didnt want me to have a "certain impression" of him, I think these guys are in a far worse position when trying to find a descent woman. There are so many women (girls) out there throwing themselves at these guys to gain the money and status. You all can sit here all day and talk shit about these guys but the truth is, most women who "go after" guys like him are money hungry groupies and trust me, these guys are WELL aware of that! While neither of us were looking for anything serious, we had a good time together and I have nothing but respect for him! I hadn't dated an athlete before him, and haven't since, but I wont say that I never would.
