first off majority of tese CFL players hore themselves out in every city that they are in and most of them have significant others so that goes to show you that nothing is stoping them. Most of the ppl on these blogs sound like groupie hes anyways so you know wat your getting your self into from the start. I feel bad for the wives/ girlfriends bc the way their men act to them is completley different from how they act when they are onn the road.

Mike is a quality guy who would definatly be there for a friend if in need.

Let me make a comment because it seems that this topic is getting out of hand and full of lies.
Mike does take control and responsibility for his offspring - he has not been a deadbeat dad - he does travel often to Chicago.. and plans many family get aways.
He has had some health problems and we need to stop hating on him and enjoy what he does have to offer.
Everyone grows up at their own pace, and Mike is no stranger to a hard up hill battle.
Just remember there are 2 sides to every story.

It sounds like the mother is the one at fault. Shouldn't she have married first and then had her child to put her child in a better situation. As the mother I would think you knew that he wasn't going to be with you like that hence he didn't marry before the child was born. I'm pretty sure your husband now would tell you the same thing if he was honest with you.

This is definetly not hating. He has a daughter that he does not take care of living in Chicago. He was there when she was born and has maybe seen her 4 times since and she is now 4 years old. If you are a good friend you should talk to him about taking care of his responsibilities. Imagine how his daughter will feel when she is old enough to know what is going on and wonder why. The mother is now married, doing excellent and moved on with her life. It is just unfortunate that he has negated his obligation as a parent. If telling the truth is considered HATING, I hope you are never put in that situation.

Mike B as the kids that he coached last year call him is a great guy. The boys on the football team loved him and so did all of the parents . weather he has 2 or 100 kids its no ones business but his !! please remember that he does have a daughter in Kanasas and her in texas . and out of respect for his children , quit hatin on the guy. children can't help who they r born too , they just have to live with it !!!!
