I knew that a former Alouettes had this name . Arakgi, the son of Nick Arakgi, an all-star receiver for the Montreal Alouettes who won the CFL’s most outstanding Canadian award in 1984, felt predestined, in some respects, to ending up with the Lions http://www.canada.com/vancouversun/news/story.html?id=5247afb1-44ac-455c-a19d-a515ecdfe0ee&k=2584

Adidas is a famous shoe brand we all know, which is nearly as famous as other well known shoe brans, for example air jordan. With trendy sports apparel and shoes outselling true performance and athletic products, it will lead the fashion again with the advertisement for its Originals fashion brand. Ads for Originals, the company's first mass-market campaign in 60 years, are going worldwide after kicking off in the U.S. for the holidays. Adidas will invite many famous sport stars as its spokespersons for Originals, such as David Beckham, Missy Elliott and Russell Simmons.Simon Atkins, the director of U.S. marketing said that Teens still wanted something that was fashionable and dealed with innovation. Also he told that the campaign and the people that were in it were on point with their needs. And that was outside of a good, bad or indifferent economy.Adidas is competing wtih other shoebrands such as air jordan shoes for a bigger marketshare on sports apparel and footwear.
Brands such as Reebok, air jordan shoes and Skechers helped make athletic looks fashionable for every day. Brands built more on performance, such as Nike, Puma and Asics, have been trying to move more into fashion to make profit out of this area. Growth of both categories is flat in the current economy, but retail expert Marshal Cohen says new styles and innovation can attract more customers even in such a difficult times. People may be more likely to buy jordan shoes when its peculiar styles attract them.
Cohen, NPD trend watcher and chief industry analyst, said Luxury was the last thing that went out in a recession and the first to recover. Consumers need encouragement. The technology and fashion can drive them to make purchases.
Asics revived its name in the youth market when it got its yellow-and-black Tai-Chi Onitsuka Tiger shoes onto actor Uma Thurman's feet in the 2003 film Kill Bill: Vol. 1. Nike gave new life to classics such as the original Air Jordan by letting people customize them through NikeID. Fashion is now about 20% of Nike sales. there we can see fashion is always the foucus of people's eyes. www.hijordans.com

Completely agreed! With his explosive power and speed, Jason will be able to overcome any obstacle that is put in his way.
BC is lucky to have such a promising rookie. Jason Arakgi has a successful future ahead of him in the CFL.
