1. We all know Henri Richard has his name on the Stanley Cup 11 times. Unfortunately, because they allow just anybody's name on the cup, he is not even close to the most. Jean Beliveau has his name on it 17 times (7 in management).
2. Six different Jacques Plantes are on the Stanley Cup; Jacko Plante, Jack Plante, Jacques Plantes, Jacques Plant. I couldn't find the other two. But it's all the same person.
3. Bob Gainy won the cup for the Canadians in the 70s.
4. Ted Kennedyy for the Leafs.
5. Contrary to common belief the Islanders did not win the cup in 81. It was the Ilanders.
6. In 63 in the Leaes won it.
7. In 72, Bobby Orr led the Bqstqn Bruins to the cup.
8. One name is actually crossed off. Basil Pocklington, father of Peter. Reason? He was dead.
9. Adam Deadmarch is the only typo corrected on the cup.
10. Current rules for player inclusion are 41 games in the regular season or 1 in the playoffs, but you can also petition for more players.

All these typos can be found on the cup at the hall of fame. Oh wait. That's not true. The cup at the hall is a fake.

My 6-yr-old son absolutely loves YouTube. Actually, it's not really YouTube, it's the NHL video on YouTube. He watches every video, over and over. He even digs into the archives. He can sit on the computer for hours watching NHL hockey video.

In last nights semi-finals hockey game, a player on the Buffalo Sabres cleared the puck in his own zone over the glass. This has been consistantly called a penalty all season. I have never, in the last two years, heard of this by the book penalty being not called. The refs refused to call it. The refs should be fired. You cannot go all season calling this penalty consistantly and abandon that commitment just because it's the semi-finals. The rules cannot change, this late into the game.

The fact that the media didn't report this incident is simply another indication that the main stream media is a bunch of bologna.

On Saturday, I brought my son and father to the Wings v. Sharks game. We sat in executive suite #48. I bought my son a Zetterberg jersey and he scored a goal and two assists. My son has converted from a Crosby fan to a Zetterberg fan.
