Last month, I found out that EA Sports is not working on a NASCAR 10 and is no longer interested in the NASCAR license. There is  no NASCAR specific game currently in planning. NASCAR will now be part of the Grand Turismo game, but won't have a game on it's own. I think this is a big mistake by NASCAR. Video games are a great way of creating young fans. Without a game, with current cars, drivers, etc., young fans will flock to other sports.

Between Frankenmuth and Birch Run, there's a small local race track called Dixie Motor Speedway. I have to remember to go here next time we're in the area. Looks like a fun experience. They have racing every Friday night.
