Lately, I've been rudely introdued to the term psychosis. Two relatives, a friend of a friend and too many ppl to count on Talk-Sports. Here's a recent anonymous message I got from a Talk-Sports user. RMEs!
I told about being surveilled and stalked but it wouldn't let me post it here so you need to pass on to you know who that unless I get an explanation why and the information was passed back and forth on here ,here is some proof ,they are not rhinestones but diamonds ,yes I use coupons ,we have photos of the ones watching ,license numbers ,etc.and know they took photos with a Nikon there plenty more all this goes to some one who NASCAR will ban if they reveal other stuff but they will print and expose this and that will come out as well not me but someone with that contact. No Open time frame on the why or explanation for and only from the person that wanted it done.,clocks ticking pass this on to you know who
Thought it would be interesting to list our top 10 pages on www.Talk-Sports.com from the last month. Just for fun.
Actually, Sidney Crosby's page 2 had 22k pageviews and would've finished 9th.
We updated the NASCAR drivers this aft.
I thought it'd be fun to list the top Talk-Sports pages in the last month. In thousand's of pageviews.
The racing starts with three track races.
The winner of the Thunder Cars race, Jim Beleskey.
That's me at the track. Note I'm standing only 10 feet from the track. Your not allowed against the fence, but you could be 2 feet away from the action.
Excellent beer and poutine.
There's a racecar tire changing game. Very fun. Not my first time, but I still suck.
JR Fitzpatrick's car. He was in 3 Nationwide races this year and finished in the top 10 twice.
Between qualifying and the race, there's an autograph session where you can walk on the track and meet all the drivers.
Boogidy, boogidy, boogidy, let's go racing boys.
Video of the entire field.
Last lap of the race. Don Thomson Jr passes DJ Kennington on turn 2 of the last lap. Kennington passes back coming out of turn 4. What a finish.
Kennington's victory lap.
His fourth win of the year. He finished the year with 5 wins and won the series championship.
Some of the cars that were on display. Kerry Micks #02 Dickies Ford Fusion.
DJ Kinnington's #17.
Ever wonder what they mean about loosening or tightening the track bar. I really never understood until I watch this video.
Summer Vacation, Day 28, August 14th 2010.
Finally, it's raceday. The Nationwide race. The Sprint Cup race is not till Sunday (the next day). Keselowski dominated and won the Nationwide race that day. My son was quite happy. It's one of his favorite drivers.
Our RV site.
The carts that people bring to the NASCAR races are simply crazy. Check out these two.
A bicycle bar.
What's an outdoor sporting event with the Goodyear blimp.
Important! When camping at the racetrack, you don't have plumbing. Keep an eye out for these guys and the water truck. I catch them once or twice depending on how many days it is. So I can shower everyday.
After the race, there was a free outdoor convert. They had beer, but not food. Kids were hungry.
Nighttime. Time for a campfire.
My neighbor accidentally set his lantern on fire. Security put the fire out within 30 seconds. Really, 30 seconds. They go around in carts all night. He stopped the cart, grabbed the fire extinguisher and it was over.
The orange dots are flying lanterns. There was sometimes a couple dozen of them in the sky at once.
If you don't know what a flying lantern is, then watch this vid. This was the 2nd one I lit. Was a little nervous and almost blew it.
Some pics of cars on the racetrack.
Summer Vacation, Day 27, August 13th 2010.
Good morning NASCAR racers, from the top of my RV overlooking the track. Friday is practice and poll day.
Video from practice.
Even from the ground (2nd row), we could see the race.
Awesome National Guard tailgating setup at the entrance to turn 1.
From the infield, you can take the tunnel to the outside where the fan zone is located.
Reverse view of the grandstand.
Me as Smoke.
Me as Jr.
Me as Ryan Newman. This guy is wide.
Me as the 4-time loser.
Me as Mark Martin.
Chad and Jimmie stopped by for a pic. Loser.
The infield has several humongo screens so you can enjoy more of the action.
Grandstands are pretty full for a poll day.
Enjoying a beer.
The RV rooftops at night.
And what would a NASCAR race be without Heluva Good! dip. The store in the infield is 24 hours and well stocked.
Biffle drives by turn 1 in practice.
Denny drives by.
Eat something Joey.
Kyle's Interstate #17 car.
Elliot Sadler's Air Force #19 car.
David Reutimann's #00 Tums car.
Jimmie Johnson's #48 Lowe's car.
Jr's #88 National Guard car.
Summer Vacation, Day 23, July 31st 2010.
The Saturday of the Pocono weekend was the 1st Camping World Truck race held there. Big day. But let's start with breakfast. Like my setup? That's my propane grill on top of my mounted dual purpose firepit-charcoal grill. I have it all.
I refer to my kids as ABC (their 1st initials), so when we say ABC hashbrowns, we bought in.
Gotta love this bar slash golf cart. NASCAR fans have the greatest golf carts.
View from the rooftops. Some of these rooftop contraptions are amazing.
Let's go truck race.
My tat. LOL! Temp. Lame. FAIL!
Awesome M&M golf carts.
The neighbors on the corner had the Nationwide race on TV for all to watch. My kids took advantage. These neighbors always occupy the same spot opposite fenceline site #1.
They also host beer pong and flip cup games. I rock at flip cup. After the guys lost about six games in-a-row, I showed them a couple tricks, joined in and we kicked the girls asses. I hit my 1st and only flip. I'm king of flip cup. I would've played longer, but I had the three kids.
Pics of all the Spring Cup favs during practice earlier in the day.
Guess where I went on July 27th? I stopped by the Darlington raceway. Didn't intend to. The wind brought me there. I was driving thru South Carolina and noticed Darlington was fast approaching. I immediately thought Darlington Raceway. Then a sign from god. Or was that a road sign. Darlington Raceway turn off ahead. I turned off.
I think it was 13 miles from the I95. WOOT!
Historical plaque located outside the museum.
A birds-eye view of the racetrack.
All the past champions. Winners of the Southern 500 and other Sprint Cup races held at Darlington.
The building is draped in classic images of the greats. Dale and Bobby.
Cale was one of the favs growing up. He was winning when I was a kid just learning about racing.
Love Darrell. But only after he cried when his brother won the Daytona 500 the day Sr died.
The real oldies.
Johnny Mantz was the 1st to win the Southern 500.
The museum has a bunch of old NASCAR cars. Bill Elliott, an all-time fan fav.
I believe this is what was left of Darrel Waltrips car.
Not that's not Kurt Busch's Miller Lite #2. That's Rusty Wallace's.
The blue #43 Plymouth.
Johnny Mantz was the 1st to win at Darlington.
The classic Hudson Hornet. The judge character from Cars was created from this car.
Some of the favs in the Stock Car Hall of Fame.
The trophy for fan fav.
Bill Elliott and Jr own this one.
The Southern 500 Trophy.
You can walk up these stairs and overlook the track.
Last month, I found out that EA Sports is not working on a NASCAR 10 and is no longer interested in the NASCAR license. There is no NASCAR specific game currently in planning. NASCAR will now be part of the Grand Turismo game, but won't have a game on it's own. I think this is a big mistake by NASCAR. Video games are a great way of creating young fans. Without a game, with current cars, drivers, etc., young fans will flock to other sports.
