After reading all these responses I had to write one of my own. I took my two children to the game on Friday night. We say a guy walking through the hall between periods and by his looks we figured he was a player. My son went up and asked him who he was and he said "Nello" He introduced himself to my other son and myself. He was very kind as well as friendly. He asked my kids questions about school and also other activities they like. I said my kids would love an autograph but then realized we had nothing to have hom sign. He said to meet him at the end of the game down near the team bus. We went down and shortly after he cam out. He had a signed hat and puck for both of my kids. They were in complete shock. Nello made my sons day! As soon as they come home from school the first thing they do is run to their room to put their hats on. I dont know if he reads this but if you do........ Thank you so much! |
