Why did I get this Email? Why would someone create at "Soli Sucks" forum? they must really love him deep down. I think Soli is a great guy and a great goalie. My name is Cary Almas, and Soli is a friend of mine! If anyone of you want to bash Soli, we can meet me at center ice anytime you want. Lets see how good this "Soli Basher" really is, if he can even stand up on skates.? ( I highly doubt it or he's another goalie) Its really kinda weird that someone would make a Forum for a guy whom he thinks sucks.? You know who really sucks, Tim Cheveldae! And the guy that created this forum. |

soli just loves to play hockey and he is gonna do it for as long as he can cuz he likes to play. period. he doesnt think hes amazing or anything. he just wanted to see how far he could get and for some1 who couldnt skate less then 10 yrs ago i think he got pretty damn far. |

How many minutes did he play for the Mechanics?....oh, thats right, 3 warm up shots. 5. A real goal tender would never walk up to a NHL team trainer and offer to back up their 2nd string goalie cuz the no. one went out in practice. 6. Let me put this into perspective for "BUCKNASTY" (ooooohhh that screen name frightens me to the marrow. Also it's from the 80's right ?) and the rest of you losers, you guys play a GAME. All the trash talk reminds me of middle school. Grow up. If Soli was great he wouldnt playing with you shlepps. He must be decent or he wouldnt play at all. Is he really that bad or did he just block a bunch of your shots and your mad, mad mad !!!!!!!! (stomping your feet) I am expecting the full "you didnt even play hockey and why dont you post your name?" B.S. so just save it for your next meaningless pick-up game so you can feel tougher than you actually are. |

I dont have to put my name out there....I know my role, and I know my name is never going to matter to the game. I quit living the dream a long time ago. When youre playing senior hockey and drop in skates with a resume and a card with a name on it thats never going to matter to anyone, yet youre still so good you think you should have a resume for people to see....who sounds like the clown now? Oh, and by the way, the last time I checked....know anywhere on here you can find anything about Paul Soli exculding this forum created to discuss how much he sucks? Ohhhh, thats right.....Paul Soli is so good hes better than the internet.... Hell, he probably created the internet so lesser people who play hockey...(thats rite, I didnt call you a hockeyplayer because youre not one, its different)...can have a forum to safely run their mouth about what they think they know about the game because they watch hockey on ESPN and know everything the people like us who have played forever have not. Its a faceless/nameless realm where toolbag 4th line bender garbage grocery stick dust can run their mouths with the best of us, not ever getting anywhere near having to back it up on the ice when the mitts are off. Hey, I bet youre sweet at NHL 08 too, and could "Danglefest" any of us in it with Sidney Crosby.....stick to the video games at 4am instead of this forum....its alot safer place for you. |

Soli minds the crease well and cuts off angles pretty good. I would want him in goal for my team, maybe he had an off night. Ever have one of those? Like the other comment asks, why so bitter? Did he stone you ? Do you feel as though you should of went pro but it just didnt happen? Pick yourself up out of the fetal position, release the thumb out of your mouth and focus your energy on something other than a negative forum about a decent goalie |

Another thing. I think I know Soli well enough to say that he doesn't think ANYONE is a "peasant" like he's all high and mighty. That's just not his personality. He gets into the game, but he knows he's not THAT good in the BIG picture! He tries hard just like you and me. Why are you all bitter about Soli anyway? |

Did you know that he doesn't even think he's that good anyway? Just ask him! I think he plays pretty well most of the time actually. I've seen him shut down a lot of good players around here. Besides, I don't know how excited he can get anymore over men's hockey. He did play for the Flint Generals. Maybe he didn't get in any games, but he was at least on their team! |

Soli is horrible....he fukken brings his "pro" workout mini-games to our local skate, and gets torched all day 5-hole by us lesser "peasant" hockey players |
