I played in the Marine Corps band on Okinawa in 1958,59.
I have about 150 or more black and white photograps that I'm told are worthy of National geograph,Library of congress ,and the new Museum in Naha. They are mostly children, who would now be in their60s,but many that include all ages, and various scenes of the island. They show men working in the fields and Mothers and older children carrying and caring for the small ones.
I'm aware of your philanthropic kindness in donating the proceeds of your winning a recent tournament, and Im hopefull that you can help me in my efforts to see my photos in the Naha museum that was completed in 2007.
I'd be happy to send you the disk that includes all my photos for your consideration.
My Okinawa pix are not on my website, but you can "google" me at dick bruce photography and framing to see what I'm about....Thanks for your consideration.
