I was Standard Bearer for Shirley's team in the ProAm at the Founders Cup in Scottsdale last weekend. I was so intrigued by Shirley as she is a fascination woman. Shirley told a bit about each founder as we came to each hole and the info was great but the delivery was fantastic. I had one of the most fun days I've ever had on a course.
Shirley, if you read this blog, thank you for a great time. I feel fortunate to have spent the day on the course with you.

About 20 years ago, in my 50's, right after my daughter left on her honeymoon, I treated myself to Shirley's golf school for women, flying from NY to California. To this day, just as she taught us, I think "Shirrrrley" when I take the club back and "SPORK" as I hit the ball. The article in The New York Times brought back a great memory. Juliet Goldsmith

Shirley is a super teacher. She does not use a lot of words but gets her points accross.

Shirley doesn't deal in negatives. Rather than say 'don't do ..' she will say ' try this' or 'watch this'.

The benefits of a lesson from her far exceed the cost.

A student of hers.
