Mark seems like a real great guy. He is a family man that cares about his wife and his children. His wife Leigh is very lucky to have a man in her life like he is. The both of them make the perfect couple. I cant wait to find a man like Mark, who I can start a family with when I'm old enough. 16 is a little young to think about it, but hey anything can happen :)

Mark seems like a genuinely nice guy. When you see him in interviews, he comes accross as very humble. He seems to enjoy his job because he loves the game; not because of the salary that comes with it. Granted, I am sure the salary is an added benefit, but he seems to love the game. Also, there is no better first baseman out there.

Congrats to Mark and Leigh. I hope both Mom and baby are doing well.

My husband and I have met Mark twice - both times during on-the-road batting practice. My husband said he is one of the nicest guys in baseball and a totally classy guy.

I go to a lot of games and almost every ball player married or not is scoping out women but not Mark Teixeira.

I assume that such a decent human being must have married someone similar to himself. Good for them and their little boy.
