Watching Shawn play in the Can-Am Independent League for the NJ Jackals in 2010 was a blast. He continued to crush the ball time after time & put up numbers a scout shouldn't over look. He happily signed autographs for fans who requested and is a really great guy, personable and easy to talk to. As a true Rays fan I would love to see him back playing for Tampa when he is fully recovered from his knee injury in Toronto. He showed tremendous talent and was way too good to play minor league ball. Is he ready for the Rays and Tampa. Only time will tell. He is probably better than 1/2 of the Washington Nationals so I could possibly see him there or easily on the Pirates and wish him only the best. As far as him having a girlfriend. If he does good for him, if he does not he should take after Jeter & enjoy the bachelor life of a pro athlete.

I just waited patiently for you to be released from even your minor league deal and now are 100% an injury ridden back up has been catcher. Again, not hating, or cursing, or attacking your mom, or anything. Just saying it is sad. Kids, no drugs, stay in school, get an education and a degree. There are more baseball players who have a few at bats get paid less than a million total and are out of the game.
