The Red Sox needed a big bat and they got Beltre...Beltre plays great defense but his bat leaves a lot to be desired: .300 obp and .265 avg. I hope Theo gets off his you know what and acquires a BAT. |

His batting may not be the best, but he made a really nice defensive play last night, and also hit a first time up, first pitch home run. |
