Soriano is a pimp. Makes over 17 million bucks a year. How many of you can honestly bash someone who is that successful? |

whether they like it or not, the players are in the entertainment business so if they aren't "performing" the way the fans want them to, then they're going to get boo-ed, pressure or no pressure. if he doesnt want to hear boos then he should be figuring out how to hit the ball |

How many times are teams going to intentionially walk Fukudume to get to Soriano? Everyone in the league knows he sucks! The Dodgers just Intentionally walked the bases loaded (happened last series too) to get to him. Guess what He Struck OUT! WOW! Bob Brenley said if he was left handed that ball would have hit him. Unfortunately our "star" decided to swing and miss yet again. |

I have never hated nor have a I booed a cubs player in my life. I think when people boo they are an embarrasment to our city, BUT...I am so tired of watching Soriano play baseball or whatever it is he calls it..I can only hope he has a season ending injury and the cubs put Jake Fox or someone that works hard EVERYDAY. SORIANO, YOU CHUGG JOHNSON |

is a car accident the only way we can get rid of him, doesn't anybody want him?, he has a decent track record, cubs are open to negotiations please some team step up and take him off our hands or that person is going to run over him on their car, save his life since he cannot save his career and cubs |

Soriano needs to improve his defense and start hitting if the cubs want to make the playoffs |

I'm a baseball fan, not a Cub fan but believe that when you pay a billion$$$ for a player, he should perform...I have always thought Soriano sucked at defense and he proved it again tonight against the Phillies.....OK I'm a Cardinal fan and I LOVE it!!! |

I don' wish him a car accident, but rather, hope that he decides that defense is an important part of the game. The guys has 7 errors in Left Field this season......I mean come on.......catch the stinking ball. |

what a horrible fielder. And his bat is pretty quite this year too. Biggest series of the year....a make or break series and the Cubs and Soriano stink it up. Sheesh. |

Lou has all the data needed to bench Sorano, .225 BA, .260 OBA, yet he benches a guy with a .600 OBA that has jump started the CUbs offense the previous two games. Lou pull you head out of your a**, play Fuld in left and move Sorano to 2'nd and bat him in the 8 hole. |

henry should resign, nobody wants him, he doesn't have the cajones to admit he made an error by trading deorsa thats why the cubs didin't get him, they had their chance but declined. indians offered him for marshall and a minor leaguer but henry said no. Soriano is getting old, slow and i think he needs his eyes checked. I even know how to pitch to him. Low and away, slider |

below average fielder, strikes out frequently, no longer a good baserunner, not too good when it really counts |

And doesn't this all point a finger at that idiot Hendry? Eighteen mil a year for Soriano, ten mil a year for Bradley-----and he gives Derosa away---???????????????/ Time for an overhaul of the front office on the north side. |

I have a bad arm, throw about 30 mph, and I could get this guy out. Just throw it low and outside, and He will swing at it. Actually just throw it anywhere and he will swing at it. He is at best a marginal fielder, and obviously very lazy in his approach to fielding. He hits a lot of HR's, but usually in non-clutch situations, or when he leads off a game. It would also be interesting to see how many HR's he hits on the first pitch, which is usually the only good pitch he gets. I guess he gets the last laugh though, because he is making mega-bucks for being a below average player. |

Perfect leadoff hitter. Low OBP, strikes out frequently. Also, well below average fielder. |
