Darren is a top notch player in my book. At Saturdays game 7/12/08 in Oakland my Grandson was at the right field rail by the Pitchers area during pregame warm-up. Darren tossed him a ball he tried to catch it but he has Hemophilla( a bleeding disorder) His glove arm was bandaged up. The ball went past him and lost to another young man. He was very sad but stayed to try for another. Darren walked to him and put a ball in his glove. He thought he was the luckyest kid in the park.
