How much do the Phillies need, I am a middle class working man but I will get a fund together and raise the money to keep Jayson in Philadelphia. I am from S. Jersey and will put money out of my own pocket to keep him.

In my 42 years of watching Phillies baseball I have seen it all, but to get a player like Jayson who has the passion and all the tools Speed, Power, Arm, etc to play this game and plays hard every night it is amazing how anybody could let him go over money, especially when the money is there and will be there in the future.

Jayson is one of the best players and they should do whatever it takes to keep him beyond 2011. He puts his all into every game. He may not always hit, but he tries and he throws himself around the feild to catch every ball.

You people that complain that he is "only" hitting 270 are nuts. Its not just all about the batting average, it's about PRODUCTIVITY people!!!! Jayson has -IS-having the season of his career. At th moment 35 HR,96 RBI,95 runs scored,16 stolen bags, and not to mention the 12 assists on picking guys off and lets not forget his abilities in the right , center and left fields.  Go Phils and Go Jayson! Cathie

Yeah I seen him hit the wall.  Also disappointed he did not play on mothers day but figured the him hitting the wall and the being hit by a pitch in another game he probably needed a break.  Sure hope he plays 5/12/09.

I am a huge Jayson Werth fan and enjoy watching him play baseball.  Jayson hits that ball when the Phillies need it and I just love watching him catch those fly balls.  Keep up the good work Jayson!!!!!!!!! In my book you are an all star.

Jayson Werth is even more awesome than Manny Ramirez or Von Hayes or Cal Ripken, or any other player you can think of!  So why people think he sucks, I have no clue!

You can send mail to Citizens Bank Park.  If you have that adress & write Jayson Werth on the front, he gets the letter through the park.  You get an autographed photocard & a letter they wrote out in the beginning of the year.  I've done it with several players.  You can get the adress from the Phillies website.

I would write to him in care of the Phillies at the ballpark. I doubt anyone here knows his address, and if they did, they shouldn't give it out on a public forum.

We are huge Jayson Werth fans!!  Does anyone know where he lives or how I can email him.  My son caught a ball at Game 3 of World Series from him and I would like to try to get it signed.

Werth is a very solid player, on both sides.  He can fly on the bases, has an excellent arm in the outfield, and can hit for some power.  No reasons to bash him.
