One sure way to fix this. It should only cost the Cubbies 3 more games. Make Gregg the starting pitcher for the next 3 games in a row. Then trade him to St. Louis !! |

Kevin Gregg just gave up 4 runs in the bottom of the ninth against the suckass Padres. Blown save #6 for Kevin Gregg (so far). He is not the closer of a "contending" team, which the Cubs are now officially not, thanks in part to Kevin Gregg. |

letting dempster walk and keeping marquis would have freed up $ for peavy. now the sox can laugh even harder at us! Trade Dempster, Bradley, and Soriano. and trade straight up for Halladay. trading away wood and derosa to plug their holes with gregg and fontenot was dumb then and dumber now. derosa has put up monster numbers, and wood, i believe would be our solid closer and mentor to marmol. dont get me started on the obscene contract handed to ryan(one year wonder)dempster. i said then that the cubs should have let him walk and keep marquis. |
