I have never seen somebody so mediocre as a reliever. He doesn't pitch anything that isn't completely crushable. If people miss his pitches, it's not by much. Then usually within the same at bat, they do in fact hit one of his grapefruits he leaves belt high over the plate. He has no stuff at all. Nothing curves, nothing breaks, nothing over powers. It's the perfect recipe for base hit after base hit. The only thing you can count on when he gets in there is that the batter will most definitely put something in play and that the defense had better be ready. If he ever gets out of an inning, it is only a because of the defense behind him. And no, he is not trying to induce ground balls for double plays. He just sucks and so did the batter.
