I still cannot believe all the talk over this guy a week since his removal from the team. Thankfully he will never wear the Olde English D again. It's kind of fitting that Detroit can't give him away, If he had one ounce of value another team would have snatched him up.AAA is to good for him. I hope that Seattle or some other far away team picks him up so that he will be away from his wife & kids.
I honestly wish nothing but the worse for the guy. He hasn't been a good MLBer since day 1. Remember his pissing match when future HOFer Pudge got here? He did the same when we got Cabrera. His supporters always say he's a great defensive 3rd baseman, but that isn't, nor ever was true. He is always among the league leaders in errors, has 2 bad knees, has very limited range, & is an old man.
He knows that he isn't great, that's why after another hitless roadtrip, his 1st stop is the children's hospital (with the media), garnering the support of another dumb ass soccer mom. Most pro athletes give to charity, & most do it w/o fanfare, except for this ass-hat. If he gets hurt bad in a car wreck, it would serve him right for holding this team hostage for over a decade. The Free Press, Det News, etc. needs to stop writing about him. It's time to move on.

I don't believe that Inge has ever been a big league player. He should just be happy that he made a ton of money he hasn't earned. I honestly feel that Leland has had a arm tatoo fetish and never paid attention to the 3rd base position. He was lucky they just sent him to Toledo. He should have been in AA at best.

the stance only worked for the first half and struggled the second half he sucks and it it what it is they shouldve just let him go last year or in the offseason

At least its not his knees, or his having to change positions, or some other excuse. Listen, sooner or later, people have to stop taking this bum's excuses and realize the fact is that what little talent is gone and his ceiling is well behind him (he's 34), despite his manchild appearance and "grit". The Tigers should have released him before he made it to the Majors.
