Ok people Yes Brandon does have a girlfriend her name is Dana. They have been together for quite some time now. They are happy!! Why can't you just let them live their lives and mind your own damn business.... They are not engaged yet but im sure within time he will pop the question. Either way they are common law married. Yes she is a school teacher and I have only met her a few times and she has never been rude to me but she is never that friendly either but then again I am a female and a very big fan of Brandons (one that still supports him even when he isn't doing that great). If I was a players wife or Girlfriend I would prolly be the same way. Yes she does have as boob job and in my opinion they are way to big but she is not fat at all I don't know how anyone can think that she is fat. She is very skinny. I don't think that she is that pretty but who am I to judge im not the one dating her. If you don't know Brandon personally then dont talk shit and make up things. |

I know for a fact Brandon Backe has lived with his girlfriend for the past 4 years and they have been a couple since New Years Eve 2004. |

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but these are facts: Brandon & Dana have been together for 5 years and living together for 4 . Dana is a school teacher. She teaches homemaking and kickboxing. She also teaches kickboxing outside the school. She did participate as a model for a calendar featuring Chloe Dao designs and shelter dogs to raise awareness and money for SNAPS (spay and neuter program). Dana has only had 1 breast surgery paid for by her mother long before she ever met Brandon. |

Brandon's 3rd start was last night! Infact he went 6 innings. I don't think you read when his next start was going to be right. But whatever. Get to feeling better B we need you :) |

I was looking for Backe's next start (Mon. May 5th) and found this site. I'm definitely surprised at some of the negative comments and how crude and cruel some people can be. I've known Brandon since he was a freshman in Ball High School. He has always been a fierce competitor and a great athlete; probably better as a quarterback than a baseball player. I have also know Dana her whole life, since she is my granddaughter. Some comments people have made are speculative and absolutely none of their business. I challenge anyone to say those things to me personally. Dana is not a bitch. She is a popular school teacher and an instructor in kick-boxing. Maybe they should make their comments to her personally. Backe's regular season records are just average, but his playoff games and his World Series game against the Chicago White Sox are outstanding performances. Baring further injuries, he should be able to return to the Astros and finish this season with them. |

I don't know where ya'll get your information from. they are not engaged, he is very focused on his career. They are not gonna living in different cities, Dana is very nice once you take the time to know her. I feel sorry for these two, just leave them alone and if you don't know them personally and know the fact then you shouldn't say anything. |

" Brandon is a very nice guy. Super sweet. He's so appreciative of his fans and all the opportunities he's been given. He's worked hard to get where he is. I think the pda thing is just so he can remain proffessional in the public eye. I've only had brief interactions with Dana. She doesn't seem as nice. But maybe thats just because she doesn't like girls ogling over her boyfriend/fiance. I would probably be the same way too if I were her. Yes, she is definitely a very lucky girl. Girls talk so much crap about her, but obviously Brandon sees something special about her for him to be with her this long. If he wasn't that into her then he wouldn't still be with her. So when/if they get married I hope they are both happy and I wish them the best. PS- Happy Belated Birthday Brandon! Oh, and get well soon too! All the best to you! |

I heard Brandon will probably be playing in the minors after he gets released from the DL. What are they going to do living in different cities? Do you think they will even stay together since he's not in the majors anymore? |
