IT'S A GIRL!

Brian tweeted the birth of his and Lisa's daughter, McKenna Raye Duensing, earlier this evening. She weighed in at 5lbs., 5 oz. Fortunately, he also included a picture. Prepare for a dangerous level of cuteness:

Mini-Duensing update:

According to Brian's Twitter, Mini-Duensing is due on December 30. He also added that he and Lisa aren't finding out Mini-Duensing's sex until he or she is born.

Add Brian to the long list of casualties this season. He strained an oblique muscle and was pulled from the game after only 2 innings.

I think the only starting pitcher who hasn't been on the DL this season is Carl Pavano.

Lisa was working as a substitute biology teacher at Millard South High School in Nebraska when a student killed an administrator and wounded the principal. The Minneapolis Star Tribune has an excellent article about how it affected her and Brian:
