We know he was at the game. He was at his job. I bet that Lisa was understanding about where Chris wanted to be (with her and their little girl), versus where he had to be (with the Rockies).

On her birth day, Ashlyn Brooke was the "Delivery of the Day" which I think is really cute.

it's so funny how people use this site to try to paint such a happy perfect little family picture... not being mean, just saying -> "was supposed to be in the lineup but with the birth he's spending the night with the family".... or go read the article where it tells you, he left the hospital shortly after the birth (birth around noon, usually reports by 1:30 or 2p at latest so even if he was a little late that day, left not too long after the birth) & then the trainer said he didn't have enough sleep & to go home... not saying it's not where he would have rather been, just not the way it was portrayed by the poster here that is trying a little too hard to make sure everything sounds so normal rockwell.

Ashlyn Brooke Iannetta was born July 28, 2010 to Chris and Lisa Iannetta. She was 6 pounds, 9 ounces.

Chris and Lisa had a baby girl today, sometime around noon. As far as I know mom and baby are doing fine. Chris was supposed to be in the line-up today but with the birth, he's spending the night with his family.

WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!  At the beginning of the season the announcers talked about his wedding and who was in it...it was an all star cast of players standing up for him.  They got married last November....you're and idiot!!!!

They got married in November, so August would be nine months of being married. So that would be Lisa getting pregnant in December. It makes perfect sense to me. And we don't know (nor do we really care) what they were doing before they got married. (I'm not insinuating anything by that statement. They had been engaged long enough for what might have been unintentionally insinuated, to not take effect.)
