Well according to the latest Rockie's news Atkins will NOT be tendered a contract this year. Wonder who will pick him up after his poor performance this last season??? I hate to see him go but glad Ian Stewart will get the start!!!

you should see it every time he comes to bat. i didnt notice it yesterday, but it kind of looks like a humongous zit, but i think its more than that cause ive seen it for weeks.

i have definitely noticed it the past couple weeks. i dont know what it is, but hopefully nothing serious. i still find him attractive, and i feel bad for him. but oh well he sucks this season. hopefully whatever is on his neck isnt dangerous

Haha...Idk about that Hope girl either but has anyone read the comment on his "sucks" page?? The one about how hideous he looks? Has anyone noticed that gross, hideous"thing" growing on the side of his face?? It has been there for a couple of weeks...looks like a small tumor...it was really huge there for a while and noticeable...YUCK!! Hope he got rid of it and HER for that matter. I agree...the Rockies don't need any bad luck or curses right now!!! ;(

IDK if he is still dating that blonde chick......but if he is I feel sorry for him for picking someone as fake as her that has turned his playing abilities to CRAP!! I really feel he is not the player he was because of her!!! Wonder how proud she is of him with his performance he has shown this season?!? Hopefully she will stay in Atlanta and away from him for the postseason!! Rockies don't need Hope's curse in the playoffs!!! LOL

im almost positive he will be on the 25 man roster if they make it. although he hasnt done well, he is basically a veteran on the team with playoff experience. and they face quite a few lefties. if they play philadelphia, they will need him, due to his success against philly and leftie pitching.

If the Rockies make it to the post season it will be interesting to see if Atkins makes the 25 man roster. He has SUCKED sooo bad this year it's pathetic!!! His batting average is .223!!!!!! And the ERRORS!!!! OMG...he really doesn't deserve to be on a playoff team and there are too many new and young players that have showed way more potential than him. He has just been a looser this year at baseball!! Wonder if he is still with that girl????? |

I will have to figure out when it happened. I watch all the games and now I have to go back and look it up. But even the next day on Double Play before the game on FSN they showed it again. I thought that part would be cut out but they didn't. Even the announcers made a comment about Atkins not paying attention and that he could have made an out!! I don't know where his head is at, but I'm sure it's not where the sun is shining!!! LOL |

Not only at batting but on the field also!! His defense has been terrible. The last time he played he had 2 ERRORS!!! And that other game against SF...Torrealba tried to get an out at 3rd and Garrett wasn't paying attention to the runner coming towards him. He was watching 2nd base and NOT his!!! Torreabla walked away and mouthed the word F*** in frustration!! It was clear as day on TV!! He is just TERRIBLE this year!! And I do agree it had a lot to do with that girl!! It will be interesting to see if he stays with the Rockies or for that matter is with any team next year!! If is he probably won't be a starter!! AND he won't see the money like this again! Really sad!! |

i gotta be honest. i cringe every time i see him come to bat. it's getting to where i can call what out he is about to make. i hope he realizes his mistakes from this season and takes care of them(or rather, HER) in the offseason.

I just wish he got better. He should be better! He was all the hype when Holliday was traded in the off season. But obviously not now. I think his timing is off, but that's just what I am seeing. C'mon Atty! We're rooting for you!!!!
