Whoever said Johari is in it for the money is a fool. She came from money. Granted, her folks were no millionaires, but she is the furthest thing from broke, and YES...SHE'S AFRICAN AMERICAN. Not to say that matters but most Black men in Baseball are not looking to date Black women, and that's a fact so kudos to them. It's a great look for Black love.

Jimmy Rollins’ Saturday wedding on Grand Cayman is still on despite yesterday’s earthquake that struck the Cayman Islands. Rollins and fiancee Johari Smith, a fitness instructor, were in the Caymans yesterday when the earthquake struck. The couple promptly reached out to friends and wedding guests to say they were OK and the wedding was still on. Phillies spokeswoman Bonnie Clark received a text from Rollins at 11:15 a.m. yesterday. “We’re fine. just had to vacate the building for a lil bit and forced to eat breakfast on the beach;-)” The couple will wed at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Ritz-Carlton. Phillies such as Ryan Howard and Shane Victorino are expected guests. Former Phillie Bobby Abreu, now with the Los Angeles Angels, is one of Rollins’ groomsmen. — Philadelphia Daily News
