Johan is a colossal d-bag for sleeping around. From the sounds of things he didn't commit a crime as the "victim's" story is very different from that of others who were with him that day. Since no criminal charges were filed and the case was thrown out, the "victim" is now pursuing a civil case.

What bothers me is why this all went public when it did. Was someone hoping to get pregnant and then get a huge payment of hush-money? Was someone upset that things didn't go as planned and decided to leak the police report (icky details and all) to the public?

I really feel for Johan's wife. I'm amazed that she has stayed with him throughout all of this. I know I would have started divorce proceedings as soon as I got word of any infidelity.

He admitted cheating... I'm not saying he raped this woman but he is definitely a cheater and not the great guy everyone thinks he is

I live in Minnesota, and personally know someone who has been with him a couple times since he's been married. She still has his phone number and still talks to him after games. This recent news of his infidelity is no shocker.

I don't believe any of this .... why would the girl have cleaned up and gone back to sit and watch him play tennis... sounds like another case of scorned groupie. Terrible, because he's a real honest and fine family man.

He lives in my neighborhood and he's a very nice guy. He is very kind to my children and takes the time to talk to my son about baseball and give him encouragment. He's known his wife since childhood. He has two daughters and a six month old son. He spends a great deal of time with his dad. I talked to him tonight at the tennis courts. He was playing with his dad. Very cute.

i must say - i respect him so much - where so many of his teammates are cheaters - he is so classy - doesn't cheat - does his thing on the mound and that's it - a true class act - and a good man.
