Farrah is a gorgeous girl. I've seen her at one of the Red Sox fashion shows and she is positively dazzling.

OMG so I just watched a video on youtube of Farrah Lester on that work out show wicked fit and she is absolutely beautiful. Can't wait to see that issue of the Improper Bostonian they were talking about. Wow way to go Jon Lester. Now lets get this season started and play some ball.

Boston fans suck worst than any other fans in this nation. Support your team and let this crap go. Every team has highs and lows. Yeah it sucks that it came when it did. Jon Lester is a hell of a player and a great person as well. He only stated the facts. You asked for it and you got it. I admire him for coming forward, he could have said nothing and left you always wondering about this. Get off your bashing and be thankful you have a player like him on your team. He made some mistakes but I think he will learn form them and move forward. SHAME ON YOU BOSTON FANS.

My feeling is this - I don't care if the guy did it even once. It's not professional. It's unsportsmanlike. I don't care if he's in the clubhouse and he pitched the night bf against another team and won't pitch for a few more days when it will probably be against yet a different team. He oughta be sittin' on his ass in the dugout and paying attention to the batters because sooner or later he'll be pitching against them. It also wouldn't kill the guy to sit on his duff and support his teammates. And there are all these unnamed Red Sox sources. WEEI continually complains about that. If you're going to say something, identify yourself. If you don't have the okay to say something then shut up. The source amounts to a clubbie who liked Jon Lester. Which by the way, where is Jon Lester? Why isn't he setting the record straight about all this supposed misinformation with his name attached to it? I like Jon Lester. Love him actually. Have known him since the minors. Seen him pitch in eight different cities. He probably knows who I am just by reading this. He should come forward without any hubris. Mea culpa big time. He should say "yes I was involved with the fast food chicken-clubhouse-beer-during-the-game thing. It doesn't matter how much I was involved. I was involved. Period. I shouldn't have been. It was wrong of me. I apologize to the fans. I will work hard to earn back the respect of the fans and my teammates." If he is asked questions about the other guys involved he can simply repeat "I'm talking about me and not anyone else. I am judging no one but myself." If he's asked why he did it, he should be truthful ... He slacked off ... And here's how he's going to know exactly who this is. It's not just the fans. He has besmirched the sport of baseball. His failure is significant in that regard. There are only 750 guys on the 25 man rosters. Show some respect.

WEEI » Full Count » Sources: Jon Lester shouldn’t be lumped in with other starters SOURCES: JON LESTER SHOULDN’T BE LUMPED IN WITH OTHER STARTERS 10.13.11 at 2:29 pm ET By Rob Bradford Jon Lester According to multiple team sources, the participation of Jon Lester in joining the other starting pitchers in drinking beer, eating fried chicken and playing video games in the clubhouse during games (as was reported by the Boston Globe Wednesday) was overstated. One source said Lester participated “occasionally, but very infrequent.” The sources also confirmed that unlike some of the identified pitchers in the article, Lester’s work ethic didn’t trail off as the Sox slumped through September. “Lester was not part of any of this,” said one of the sources. “He worked his ass off right to the end.”

In the photo on the right (see below), he is huge. How much weight do you think he gained? I know he's tall but man, to change your face like that is really packing on the pounds.

absolutely EVERYTHING has been verified by the Globe, the Herald, ESPN, Peter Gammons, NESN, WEEI, and on and on and on it goes.

on a day when he wasnt starting, he sat in the clubhouse not the dugout. he drank beer, ate fast food chicken and biscuits (which is kind of obvious from the two photos below - where the hell did his jawline go) and played video games. he has had ample chances to deny and/or explain but he has not.

when every single media outlet in Boston and around the USA reports this stuff, it has been proven. John Tomase of the Herald broke the story and was able to ascertain it was all five starters with Beckett, Lackey, and Lester being the worst offenders. you can email John (yes he of Patriots-Gate) and he will get right back to you.

What's so bad is this guy (last comment) doesn't even know if all this stuff reported is true or how much is true. Oh how we turn on people and Judge when the Media speaks. They pull from a story what they think will sale and run with it. Jon Lester has always been a stand-up guy and he will remain that way in my eyes till someone convinces me other wise. I'm not buying all this. They need to pull together and make sure next season is the best....GO REDSOX

Reply-to:Get grip....They are looking for a someone to blame Sept. on and these players shouldnt be singled out. It takes a team to win and lose. And what about run support? There hasnt been any for these guys for months. The team didnt make it because they played like crap. Jon Letser pitched a hell of a game that last night and Craplebon blew the save. We were winning when Lester left the game.

Good pitching beats good hitting. He was being paid millions. This was the only organization he has ever played for. He owed it to Boston to act professional every single second of every single day. 25 men on the team. One screws up or slacks off and others have to carry his weight forward. He's not a minimum wage stockboy.

The argument that the others were screwing up too doesn't hold water for me. All the more reason for this jerk to step up his game and leadership skills in the clubhouse.

ITA with the other person. What a spoiled rotten SOB.

I, too, am ashamed and disgusted.  You would think that Jon would be more professional and responsible, given his battle with cancer.  Instead, he has completely put it behind him -- and that's not a good thing.  If nothing else, he should understand that an unhealthy diet puts him at risk for having the disease recur.  Aside from that, he simply let down his teammates and fans.  What a spoiled rotten SOB.

What's the matter of Jon?  He seems a shadow of his old self on the mound. Last year, he got off to a shaky start -- before throwin a string of quality starts.  Now, the opposite seems to be the case: he early on shook off his April woes -- only to demonstrate shakiness and inconsistency in May.  Is he hurt?  Is he having personal problems at home?

His baby sure it a cutie all right ... unfortunately, he's mostly bald, with ears sticking out.

Oh well ... he'll get better looking as he gets bigger ... no need to worry about being handsome, when you're only seven months old.

From all the pictures I've seen the his wife is far from fat. One does tend to put on extra unwanted weight when pregnant, especially with boys!!! Sometimes you just have to work extra hard to get it off. Extra weight or not she pretty to me. They make a cute couple and I agree with the poster below, I bet their little baby is a cutie pie.

Is there a recent photo of Farrah?  I don't recall her looking particularly overweight, in the past.  Perhaps she's having trouble losing her pregnancy pounds ...

As for brothers or sisters: Jon has none.  Since he's an only child, his infant son's aunts and uncles will all be from his wife's family.
