Right on...Well said!! If he is in fact a coach who wrote in(you can never tell who is telling the truth on here), this ain't little league no more!! It is the Bigs and grown men don't need little league coaches to toot their horn anymore!! The are pretty much capable of doing that on their own!! Many, Many other MLB players who are good and just as good, and also are great mentors!! I can't believe someone like that would actually take the time to write on a blog like this because who really takes things seriously on here?? Entertainment is right!! It might be at the expense of Tulo but come on he is no different that any celebrity out there!! And for the one who said I was talking about the fact that he does or does not do charity work was completely off base....Maybe Tulo does come on here for laughs, no one knows that.....And for the record, yes I think he is a great ballplayer but also am smart enough to know that he is human just like the rest of us as well, meaning no one is perfect!! |

Haha...exactly!!! I have been reading these recent posts and I had to laugh at this "coach". OK so Tulo just happens to be walking his dog and runs into this coach from his little league days. The guy gets all excited because Tulo is a STAR now, so he goes home and googles him on the internet because he hasn't really kept up on him since little league and feels he is now his best friend. He finds this site and has to come on her and brags about knowing him and thinks he walks on water. Geez o Pete coach....what a name dropper!!! Where was he last year when he wasn't doing as well......??????? Oh well, I guess it's all part of the entertainment of this site....LOL |

I really can't understand the people that know Troy have to come on here to defend and brag about him, can't he do that on his own?? Showing people with his own talents, not everyone else coming to his defense????? Troy is a BIG boy and can handle things on his OWN!!!! |

It is so funny to read how people so defend "Tulo"! He is not this perfect "GOD" that walks among us, he has flaws just like you and me! Everytime someone points a flaw out "Some" people quick to jump on the bandwagon and defend him without knowing what exactly that other person is really saying! If you don't understand the converstatin than why respond?? |

I don't think Tulo is "The best SS in MLB", he Might be ONE of the best!! Let's see there is Mr. baseball- Derek Jeter, who I think if you even ask Tulo himself would agree with that one, since that was one of his own idols!! I really think "coach" is playing a bit on the biased side... |

Again ridiculous. I hate to break it to you, but Troy's not on this site -- he's not stating that he is or isn't doing charitable work. You seem to be saying that he ISN'T and that people on here are touting how great a guy he is. Well Tulo is GREAT! |

Take a good look at other athletes not just precious "Tulo", people don't have to brag about a good athlete, they can prove that on their own with their own talents!!! |

Oh brother -- you girls should stick to stuff you know. And for the girl who said you weren't judging him on his charity -- yes you were! You said something ridiculous like " a good athlete who gives, doesn't have to have people do that for them." Tulo gives from his heart and not to please you. What you said makes no sense -- that'd be like me saying: There are lots of people in Denver who give more than you. I don't know you and dont' know what you do.... so don't try to think you know what Troy does. |

I must say as well that Tulo and many other have become victims of "high powered agents"!! I have noticed this year especially mid to late season where him an many other starters refuse to sign autographs due to the fact of having agents who control their every move for pure profit!! And if you don't believe there has been several articles in the past referring to this..It is usually left up to the non starters and newer players...Let's not forget it is a business as well!!!! |

YES, I do know of his childrens hospital charity, pretty well publized!! I am not judging him on his charity work, get a clue, I amd responding to "coach" and his remarks!! |

I do have say one thing in regards to this so called friend and little league coach...Just because you see Tulo involving himself with kids in his off season, does not mean you are an expert on other athletes and their mentoring skills! Here in Denver I can name a number of well known athletes who do the same and MORE than Troy does...Chancy Billups of the Denver Nuggets is one of many who puts a enormous amount of time and effort into the community..So to say that there are not too many athletes who mentor is not a very professional thing to say for a coach or and ex coach! To me you are just as unprofessional by coming on here and exploiting the fact that you know him and have to brag it and about him.. A good Athlete who gives don't have to have people do that for him, actions speak louder than words.... |
