He is a stand up guy. grew up with his wife and we lost touch for a while but we still talk here and there. She and her family would not put up with that. Either would his parents and their mutual friends. He was a nice guy who is doing what he loves. I do not understand why everyone seems to trash people that they do not know just because he makes good money doing things we only wish we were able to do. Let them live their lives, and live your own.

I'm Aaron's cousin and Yes, that's a fact.  I don't particularly care whether you moron's believe it or not.  Get over yourselves, do you have nothing better to do than slam someone that's making a life for himself and his wife and their now growing family!?  Grow up!  Aaron and Jackie are a great couple and have a wonderful relationship.  He's truly a stand up guy and I've personally not seen a stronger relationship between two people, regardless of the fact that they are young.  Grow up, he doesn't cheat....he's not out running around like some of the other idiots you see in the news.  He's just a down to earth guy that has gotten lucky enough to be living his childhood dream and have married his high school sweetheart and is now expecting his first child with her.  So all of you need to just go away and leave em alone!  Let em live their lives for crying out loud!

A friend of mine is a bartender downtown at and on occasion she sees the guys come in. She's seen Laffey there with his wife and without her too. She's told me he's super polite and extrememly nice when Jackie is with him but when she's not around he's a big flirt, although she's never actually seen him leave with anyone or at least that's she's noticed. She said he seems rather nice and if she waits on him he usually leaves a pretty big tip-she said she thinks he just likes to flirt and talk to the ladies but nothing more and in my opinion no harm, no foul there

Laffey has the face of a choir boy and the tattoos of a Hell's Angel. This winter, he had some work done on the cross on his right shoulder, while having his wife's name tattooed on the inside of his right wrist.

I think he is cute as hell because he has that boyish look to him and he looks so innocent. But I bet he isn't! He probably will "test the waters" now that he is a big time pitcher. I just read the book "Juicy" by Jose Canseco's former wife Jessica and it was pretty interesting to hear what it was like being a ball players wife...I don't know if I would want to be one but either way A LOT of the guys cheat on their girlfriends/wives, about 90% so I wouldn't be suprised to see Laffey thrown in there!

another good point...i think it just depends on the couple and their specific situation.  its tough when statistically young marriages tend to not make it and with the added challenges a marriage to a baseball player face its even tougher. 

i can say tho that there is a lot of pressure put on these guys to marry the girls they are with...especially if they have been with them for a long time...it seems like everything gets sped up in the bigs because of this...

and dont blame you for being disappointed, lol

Very true and a very good point but on the opposite end of the spectrum, not every girl they meet once they are "big time" so to speak are all groupies...some may be very nice and happen to be big fans of that team....you never know...I'm just not a fan of marrying young considering the divorce rate is really up there and I think when you are in a "celebrity status" there is even a higher chance! But if they are happy together more power to them...but you can't blame a girl for being bummed when a cutie like Laffey is off the market! ;)

you can look at it as wanting to have fun before you settle down....or you can look at it as marrying the woman you love.  why would you leave the woman you love that much simply so you can have some "fun" with groupies??  the only girls these guys are going to find once they make it to the bigs are groupies...its VERY hard to find legitimate girls once theyve made it...besides, wouldnt you rather stay with not only the woman you love, but also the woman who stuck by you before you were a big shot player??  (cuz trust me, the minor league life is NOT glamourous)
