Look at the numbers.  He had 3 of among the best seasons ever as a Met.  How he can be so bad as to be labeled "he sucks" is beyond me.  Look how he's playing now on one good knee.  Now Jason Bay, he sucks.  Hmmm...I wonder why Bay gets more of a pass than Beltran.  You guys know why and that's sad.

Beltran is such a bitch...Joe Morgan astounds me he is so "pro player" that he won't admit tha Steve Phillips nailed it right on the head...Yep, the Love Guru, described Beltran as a Talented player who can be a piece of a winning team but is not the guy you build your team around,  He commented on how when the Mets signed his $17 million / yr. deal they were looking for a center piece who you wanted up in all the tough spots and Beltran hasn't even been close to that guy!!! The bigger the spot the smaller he gets...Hell I could get him out, sliders and curve balls low and in!! The man is helpless to lay off them, its so predictable at this point its embarassing!

The guy's a wimp.  He's got some phobia about hurting his knee.  If something hurts his knee he wants onto the DL as quickly as possible.  Who the heck goes on the DL for a "bone bruise" when the entire offense is already injured.  What a loser.

Oh -- re. the 2006 Cardinals.  What a joke.  That team winning the WS was an embarrassment to MLB.  There were like 12 teams better than that club.  They just got hot at the right time.

I remember that sequence as well. Take it from a Cardinals fan it was amazing. I'm glad your Mets wasted that money. My happiest moment was in that final game when I saw a little Mets fan cry cause his daddy's team lost; that's when I knew we were going to win the 2006 World Series.
