Once you have a baby - you can't travle with your man as much...and the groupies descend on your man right away...his teammates will cover for him and encourage it bc they are doing it too. Uh ... where is it written that you HAVE to give up your dreams?  Way to go perpetrating the stereotype that it's the woman who has to give up everything.  Lacey CHOSE to abandon her professional life in favor of being a WAG.  In the age of the Internet she could have become a consultant and worked from anywhere, but NO, she'd rather sit on her butt and be a housewife.  What's the use of getting an expensive education if all you want to do is be a housewife and have someone else support you?  Rule number one--NEVER be financially dependent on ANYONE.  NEVER.  Feminists didn't work for this!

Being a ballplayers wife is not all it is cracked up to be. You, along with many others are naeve to what really goes on with these women and the things they go thru in their day to day lives with their husbands career. It isn't easy being an educated woman giving up your dreams to be by the side of the man you love. I mean yea the pay is great, but you have to remember that with more $ comes more problems. And that is the truth. I personally know Lacey and she is a pretty young lady. I wouldn't go as far as saying she is a Victoria's Secret model but pretty...yes. I cannot tell you too much about her and Houston's personal life but why would I want to anyway. Everyone should just let them be, they are about to welcome their first child Ripkin into the world, so with his family and career, I am sure they have more important things to worry about than gossip on this silly little page....That he did NOT create by the way. if you are an athlete, you have one of these pages, not by choice of course.

Huston wasn't as good in the '09 Postseason as he was in the '09 Regular Season with the Rockies, but he definitely improved since being traded from Oakland, where he didn't quite live up to his own potential.

ya he chose two bad times to have two bad starts, but dont start talking trade. has been the most consistent this season and is the reason for so many of our wins. its unfortunate that he slipped up now, but thats life. the rox will come back next year

Huston Street is definitely a cheater. He was with a girl last year after he was married. He forgot to tell her he was married until the next morning. I hope lacey figures it out and leaves him. All she would have to do is have him followed after a game that she doesn't attend. Easy......

When Huston proposed  to Lacey, he surprised her with 1500 roses.  She graduated in 3 yrs with a 3.8 or 3.9 G.P.A. overall and a 4.0 in her major.  What a guy!  What a girl!  Wishing them all the best of God's blessings!
