Here's hoping that Jim can remain fat and happy and nice in a skinny and sad and mean place like Cleveland.

Happy Birthday Jim Thome. We both have the same birthday but I am 15 years older. Enjoyed having you as a Twin and will definitely miss your class act. Best of luck and continue that Jim Thome "Minnesota Nice" approach to life.

Ummm… what?
Condom company presents Jim Thome with weird "gift"

Condom company NuVo sent 600 condoms to the Twins as a congratulatory gift for Jim's 600th home run. They say that they want the team and their loved ones to celebrate safely.

What, do they think that the Twins' clubhouse is like a deleted scene from "Caligula?" Or maybe this is because of the rumors that Jim is blessed with more than a big bat? Whatever it is, it's a very, very strange offer.

Jim Thome is truly a great guy and a great example on and off the field. Some of these comments are stupid and disrespectful, you obviously are just trying to be a jerk by coming on a Jim Thome fan forum and slandering him. However I am confident that one idiot's comment will not change your opinion of Jim Thome. He is my favorite White Sox player along with AJ Pierzynski. Keep killing the ball Jim as you get one step closer to the Hall Of Fame and a World Series championship!

I hate Jim Thome (Pronounced Th-ome). I helped this dude out one time in a hotel and he was the rudest motha cracker I've ever met. For ever and ever I will hate the White Sox and ANY team that is willing to sign him. He's juicing anyway, so he'll be outta baseball soon. HA!
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Tue, 26 May 2009 13:08:09 GMT
the sox should bench thome and fields.  they strike out too much and theyre slow.  dye should dh so he can play longer.  betemit should play 3b.  i wish the sox had uribe for 3b.

Yeah you were probably too shallow to give a "nice guy" a chance. Now that he has money and he's a somebody you wish you wouldve gave him a chance you stupid prom queen!!!

Jim Thome was and is a great guy.  My brother knew him and I had the luck of having met him several times.  Too bad I wasn't too smart back then - Now that I am going thru my 2nd divorce (no fault of mine).  Maybe it would have worked with a nice guy like Jim.   Regards, Dawn Neace
