Josh Hamilton

Josh Hamilton is one player in a team and Baseball is a team sport. 

From what I have read this site reads more like a hate site, than a fan site!

Hamilton is an awesome player, yes he has his demons and he has not hid them from anyone, he has spoken about them openly, plus how many other ball players do you know that have had to deal with 'killing' (inadvertently) a fan.

Josh never worked to get good at baseball, it is a God-given talent and the fact he is still playing after all that has happened to him is a testament to his character and person.

WOW, so people should get a medal for playing baseball for a living and crying about having a drink? 

A lot of people struggle with drug abuse and go to regular crappy jobs everyday and don't cry about it.

I and many of my First Baptist Dallas friends still love you! We are praying for you! Jonah deliberately defied God several times and God still loved him and used him for His glory even when Jonah didn't want Him to. All is not lost. Josh would it be possible to get an autographed copy of your book to present as a Christmas gift to a young man who is in the Marine Corps.  He is now serving on active duty, a native Tar Heel, and the best amateur 3rd baseman I have seen in my 50 years of playing and watching baseball. Josh, as another recovering alcoholic/addict i really admire what you have done to return to your gift as a great ball player. It is storys like yours that help me get through the bad days without picking up a drink or drug. Good luck against the Tigers!

Our family is flying from Montana to California to watch you play this Tuesday night versus the Angels.  My three daughters play fastpitch softball and all have read your book and are huge Josh Hamilton fans!!  Good luck !!

Hi Josh, I am a fellow North Carolinian and am a huge fan. I came to watch you play on fathers day with my  family. We sat right behind the Texas dugout and I met some of your friends and Big Daddy. While I am sure there is very little chance of you seeing this email, I write it in the chance that it comes across you view.  I don't respect your past, but I extremely admire the way you have amended your history.  You are an extraordinary person, who will teach many lessons to young people for years to come. I hope you will not let this tragedy, of which you are not to blame, stop the amazing influence which you are able to have on young people.  I wish you the best, and so you are aware, I am not a Ranger's fan (in fact, I'm a Giants’ fan), but more so, I am a fan of you.  I wish you the best, and hope you know you have many people who believe and support you.
