Well, I wasn't accurate with the timing, but I was right about the dollar amount. Kevin Slowey agreed to a 1-year, $2.7 million deal with the Twins, avoiding arbitration. |

The other rumor is that Slow Ride could be bumped to the bullpen as long relief if Pavano re-signs. It could certainly help in an area where the Twins need a lot of help. |

Last I heard, Slow Ride isn't in a relationship. So she's either the wife/fianc�e/girlfriend of another player, or she's just a paying attendee of the event. |

It's possible that he has friends or family in Charlotte and he wants to be closer to them. He could be staying there for any number of reasons. |
