Luke Scott is a racist, xenophobic, homophobic right-wing nutjob. It isn't a matter of IF his foot-in-mouth disease will get him into an epic PR mess but WHEN.

When is he coming to the Mariniers?  We need a hitter.

We will look for him at Spring Training in AZ.

There is great hunting in WA state.  My parents used to go all the time when I was a kid.

Obama must have been worried enough, since he posted his birth certificate at a state dinner.  Can't blame Luke for a little mud slinging.  Wendy

The reporter asked him a question...he answered honestly. Some people need to realize that he didn't call a press conference to speak badly about the president. A lot of people feel this way and its what is called an opinion. I do not agree with him but I respect his opinion just like I would expect him to respect mine. I only care how he performs during the season...other than that, he is a normal person who makes good and bad decisions like everybody else in the world. Get over it.

He is offering his opinion on president Obama because he is still free to do so, although under president Obama we dont know how much longer that is going to be. Has anyone given any thought to the mass amount of bad press Pres. Bush got right before he got out of office, now isn't it suprising how even in the worst of employment records there is basicly nothing bad repeted in the new against pres. Obama? Reply-to:Luke Scott is an idiot. Why is he online offering his opinions on President Obama? Focus on baseball and giving the city of Baltimore a winning season.

Anonymous (Sophomore) wrote on Thu, 09 Dec 2010 02:34:06 GMT
If we were unclear in any way in our statement, that was unintended. Our use of the phrase “duly elected” was meant to state very clearly that President Obama was elected “properly and legally,” meaning he is of course a natural born citizen. Any suggestion otherwise is not based on fact. I hope this additional statement makes it clear that the Orioles organization, of course, acknowledges the President was born in Hawaii. Sincerely, Greg Bader Director, Communications ,

Thank you for contacting the Orioles. We appreciate your feedback. The Baltimore Orioles organization has issued the following statement earlier today regarding the interview with Luke Scott last night: “Luke Scott’s comments do not reflect the opinion of the Baltimore Orioles organization. The fact is that Barack Obama is our President, duly elected by the people of the United States. End of story.” As a member of the MLB Players Association, Luke has a right to speak his mind as he wishes, regardless as to whether the organization believes he is speaking in his or our best interests. The MLBPA Collective Bargaining Agreement affords the players that right, and the club is not able to restrict their speech in the manner you suggest. As we addressed in our statement, his opinions are not representative of the opinions of the ballclub. Sincerely, Carey Paytas Communications Assistant Baltimore Orioles ,

I am a Iraqi war vet. I fought for my country and I am now dissabled. I have no shame for my dissability, and I would still be in the Army if I could. I love this country and will protect my country, my family, and myself, with no regrets. I am a gun owner, and carry my gun on a daily basis, I carry it to protect myself and others against people out to cause problems, I have never pulled my gun on anyone while being a civilian. I feel as long as you have not been convicted of a agressive crime you should have the right to protect your self any way you see fit. If you want to carry a gun you should be able to as far as pistols go, you should not be able to carry an assault rifle or anything of that nature.
