I was extremely excited that the Giants signed him this year. I've been watching him a few years back to his Cubs days. He was super nice too in spring training. He walked right up to me, signed something for me and took a picture.

Spoken exactly like someone who doesn't know when it's time to put the horse down.  If you were Barbaro's trainer, he'd probably have a walker.  It's time for Derosa to give up the ghost and move on to opening his next business - a hitting school that teaches kids how NOT to hit for average.
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Wed, 05 May 2010 14:35:06 GMT
If someone is judging a batting average of .200 based on 25 games this season, he needs to learn the game a little better.  DeRosa has a career avg of .273.  Learn the game then talk some smack.
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Wed, 05 May 2010 14:31:37 GMT
Try to get your average above .200 you suck-bag.

I grew up with Mark in Carlstadt, we were close friends, and I know this:  his success is a result of so much hard work, sacrifice and dedication.  We're all so proud of the man he grew up to be...right in front of our eyes.

Carlstadt loves you!!

this married family man is great, gorgeous, and to be respected.  one of the few players i have been following ever since he came in the league.  He is such a solid player.  I can't wait to hear more about him, even if he is taken.  It's about time you hear something good regarding family from a player.

GO MARK!!!

Anonymous (Sophomore) wrote on Thu, 02 Jul 2009 18:49:50 GMT
he never was an indian he clearly never is going to get over the cubs letting go of him, he wishes he were a cub, it is going to get interesting on july 10 cannot wait
Anonymous (Sophomore) wrote on Mon, 29 Jun 2009 21:27:40 GMT
NOOOO I don't want him to leave Cleveland...although its not like we're any good this year but he was the one guy you could count on...way to go Cleveland, we probably ended up getting another crappy closer-looks good on paper but sucks on the field!

has the hottest wife in MLB, she is number one in a true list of MLB wives
Anonymous (Sophomore) wrote on Mon, 29 Jun 2009 01:49:21 GMT
traded to the cardinals, that sucks for him and his true fans, the cardinals are the division rivals for the cubs, his formal team, it is going to get interesting when the cardinals go to play against the cubs, Mark is going to have confused feelings, i bet the cubs fans will not give him an ovation every time he is up to bat, as they did when he and Wood visited as Indians. I cannot wait to July 10 Cardinals VS Cubs. GO CUBS!

I grew up since Kindergarten with Mark and his older brother (my age)  He was a fine kid and an even nice gentleman.  I would love to see him after 10 years. There was a graveyard (not a typo) that we used to run through and play in. Bizarre, but we grew up middle-class and it was fun.

Leave him be about fictitious GF's-he's a great guy and a good family man. I hope he has a wonderful season.  Gongrats on your continued success.
Anonymous (Veteran) wrote on Tue, 28 Apr 2009 02:35:33 GMT
WOW, i grew up with him since kindergarten.....His father was rough on him during games,, but if you want to go Pro, it's what you have to do.

He's 4 years younger than me and his house was 5 houses down. Amazing...........
