Do we really need to go down that road again.  For what ever reason he isn't with baby momma.  He is married and has a new baby boy with his wife.  He's having a fantastic season.  We don't know his personal business, although there are a ton of people on this site that like to believe that they do.

Not at all - saw them together after a game.  They had both of their daughters and there was a little boy too, about 3ish.  Wonder if it is his son.

The team forced him into rehab - you cannot force someone to stop doing something unless the person is aware it being a problem and wants to seek help themselves.  Do I think he is a cocky athlete....probably, but you are misunderstanding that with his knowledge of being an alcoholic.  This man is battling some kind of demon and is finding comfort in drinking.  Do I think he was an ass to drink and drive - absolutely!  Do I think you are capable of making responsible decisions while under the influence - NO!  I'm not trying to protect him.  I want others to realize that this man has a serious problem and that is sad and I feel terrible for him because if he continues on this path he will destroy his life!!!  Fans look at these guys as baseball players only - the reality of it is that these guys are just like you & I!

You dont recall when the team made him get help last year??  And in denial? Really? Lets be real. He told the officer " Do you now who I am , do you know what my problem is" then picks up a bottle of scotch and drinks it in front of the officer.. This is WAY off from denial... Feel bad for him? I can't I feel bad for the people he hurt, is hurting and will hurt in the future.

I, for one, feel terrible for him.  This man has a serious problem and if he doesn't get help for it he will either kill himself for someone else.  Please keep in mind people that once you have a drinking problem you always do.  It is a disease you battle with every day of your life.  The worse part is that he is obviously in denial.  I hope that his family, his team and his fans stand by him because he is dealing with some serious demons.
