Wow, you got all that from one comment? Just passing through, not sure why I posted. Don't really care about this guy or his wife. Good if he's happy! It is a bit concerning how some of you are so angry and involved in defending him. Yikes. I've never been with him, never touched him, actually turned him down if you must know. Just saw everyone in an uproar on here and I thought it was a bit ridiculous, considering he is nothing anyone should be worried about. Especially now that he is married.

Oh rookie 16:00 and YOU and your jilted groupie friends are sooo much better than Nick Swisher and his wife being jealous his life is so much better than yours. Who the hell cares if you got used. His ex girlfriend married Jason Varitek so both moved on and very happy with their spouses. The only groupies complaining are the freaks who can't find a boyfriend and using Nick Swisher marrying his lovely wife as their excuse. No one gives 2 f@ks about old dried up gossip about he and the women who are bitter. He was a single man like Derek Jeter using them and leaving them moving to the next cleat chaser ready to be his willing one night stand. We Long time Nick Swisher and Joanna fans will let you know when we start to care. Your complaints are of a single man who was doing the same thing to women who show up at spring training giving these guys scribbles of paper with your phone digits wanting a piece of them. He's married man now. What he did as a single man doesn't matter how he treated a bitter cleat chaser. What matters to people is how he is now. Too bad you still holding on to the taste of his sperm in your throats is all the memories you're left with. I get that rookie. If he's a prick because of his douche bag ways, than why not call him out for that? The hate isn't about Nick, it's about the couple. Why hate on her? Also, if you think he's a douche bag, why entertain him at all, why waste your time? I've met him a few times at charity events. He really is into to the people he is helping, and is cheerful and extends himself.

If anyone dislikes Nick, it's not likely because they are jealous. Aside from fans who find him to be too obnoxious in general, he was a known d-bag when he was single. Not just with "groupies" he slept with, but also the women he dated or associated with. It's pretty much a known fact. Not many nice things were said about him and this forum was constantly deleted. Maybe it's hard for some to believe because he seems so likeable, however there have been enough stories to prove otherwise. It's a bit shocking he was able to marry a Hollywood actress and I think if anyone is disgusted, it is because he was/is such trash.

At least you can admit you are. Most groupies are jealous and envious when they realize it never was serious or going to be. Seeing pictures of him happy with his wife just breaks your heart and you feel used which you were. You knew dam well you never had a chance. I here Jeters giving away signed balls and gift baskets and he's single. Go try your luck with him. At least you get parting gifts for your brief encounter with him. Maybe a sample package of valtrex too.

I don't care how many errors this auto correct makes. Fact of the matter is you're still acting like a jealous, jilted, bitter groupie who's mad because Nick and his lovely wife have a lot of fans and the soldiers lying in the hospital beds look excited and happy to take pictures with him. Their smiles on their faces and both Nick and his lovely wife Joanna's smiles are genuine and they are excited to visit them especially on thanksgiving when most are miles away from families and friends. I always love that the slightest negative comment results in OMG JEALOUS.  Yeah, so jealous of a coattail rider and a very minor actress whose marriage will break up within two years of his going to another team because they won't be able to stand the loss of attention.

And it's "troops."  If you're going to attempt insulting someone, at least do it with proper spelling and punctuation.

Its not like Nick"s name wasn't well known and a pretty good baseball player before he signed with the yankees anyway. Plenty people know Swisher and his wife. Jealous? Who put coals in your christmas stocking? Not Nicks or Joanna's fault you can't find you're own man and be happy like them! Those soldiers looked very happy in the pictures and all famous people that go over seas get their pictures taken with the troops. The troops looke pretty happy. Do you act like a creep when you see pictures of the presidents with the troups? You do know the president is the commander or do you think he's an attention seeker because he's bringing them home? You jealous idiot!

I'm pretty sure the troups would much rather see a yankee baseball player and his actress wife from the popular show Reba. Than some jilted bitter groupie who's still fuming because Nick didn't give her a signed baseball and a waiting car or bus fare for her to get home. Right Sophmore 01:32:03 like they're attention getters by doing something like visiting american troops who are overseas losing their lives away from their friends and family for the holidays. I guess the late Bob Hope, Marilyn Monroe, Lucille Ball and others that fly do something neat such as spending their holidays in a place that's surrounded by people they don't know is a bad thing. Thank you so much for the amazing pictures of Nick and Joanna Swisher in Afghanistan. People have no idea how the troops are excited to see faces from the US. It means so much to them. My uncle and a brother came back home earlier this year. They are still trying to adjust back to civilian life. I love this couple so much. They don't nearly get the attention they deserve not only representing the US but Nick representing baseball and Yankees and his wife representing actresses. They are my favorite yankee/actress couple and always kept it real without calling the paparazzi to follow them around pretending they were a perfect couple for the tabs. Thank you Legend for the amazing photos.

Nick Swisher (above r.) and wife actress JoAnna Garcia toured Afghanistan last month, spending their honeymoon and Thanksgiving, meeting troops, listening to their stories and posing for pictures. Swisher, also got to fly in the Black Hawk helicopter (below) and fire off a few rounds.

Swisher is a pretty boy that craves attention.  Just watched the MLB Network and Swisher dives head first after catching a routine line drive.  He had already caught the ball and then he dove head first.   Swisher has to make sure he'll be on the Sportcenter and MLB highlights.  He does look like some sort of creature. lol  And that slide was dirty as hell.  It's okay to cleat a 2nd basemen, but when you go airborne and pretty much kick them in the shin with cleats on, that's not cool.  I'd  pay a pitcher to bean him right in the face:)
