My son Ryan is 4 today and he loves the white sox. We bought him a Konerko jersey and when he opened it this morning he asked the best question ever. "Mommy can I call Paulie and tell him I got his jersey for my birthday?". All I could tell him was that I don't have Paulie's phone number. I decided this was probably the closest I could get.

Looking for a PK favor.  My daughter, Katerina, is a life time fan.  While in High School, John Hersey AH, she won an art competion with a swinging close-up of Paul Konerko portrait (hanging in our family room).  After an Academic All-American collegiate softball career, Loyola Chicago, she is currently training as a Naval aviator in Enid OK.  I was hopeful I could get the portrait signed by Paul as a Christmas present.  Kat will be home on leave for Christmas.  Thanks,  Mark, markkrausemd@hotmail.com

Paul, As a relatively long time White Sox fan who has never been to Chicago, I have followed your career with great interest. I have tremendous respect for the way you play the game on the field, as well as the way you carry yourself while off the field. To this day I wonder why he is even still playing for the south siders?  Is Kenny Williams hooked on the same juice as Paulie, or is Paulie just that damn good under Kenny's desk?  Who even heard of Konerko until he got his break on the White Sox?  I know I didn't and I look at what we gave up to keep this waste of air.  Frank Thomas is a shoe in for the Hall of Fame and the only sad thing is he never got to finish his great career where it began.  Thanks to Paul, Kenny, and stupid Jerry this team lost out on one of the greatest players to play on the south side.

Konerko has come into the place where I  work in the past. As opposed to other athletes and "stars," the guy is very nice, respectful and a gentleman. He just comes off as a cool, nice, normal guy.

You all act like a bunch of school marms, imagine, a major league player, who has tons of pussy thrown his way, having an affair (if the rumour is true.) That has NEVER happened in the history of sports!!!
