That sounds good, but I do feel somewhat guilty about him running into A.L., I was sort of responsible for them meeting, sorry Rick. But I did learn to be a bit more careful  about friends I make, man A.L. got scary.

Sorry but unless you have photos, I don't buy it. The Latin players rarely if ever hang with the American guys. What bar, as there aren't really clubs in Birmingham, they are all technically bars, not a true club. I could buy Boesch & Porcello hanging though.

I just don't believe he is passing out in local bars and the person who wrote that email is just spreading rumors.  He would have to consume quite a bit to get to that point and find it difficult to believe what has been written.  But as I stated before, if this person truly knows him, it would be a shame if he/she didn't take the time to discuss this potentially dangerous so-called routine he has fallen into.  If I ever get the chance to meet/talk with him I will discuss these rumors with him (and gladly offer to be his chaparone!).

What local bars exactly is he passing out at? If you know him personally, please be a friend and talk to him about this problem.  I imagine with his recent success and massive income at his young age, there are no boundaries for him. It's one thing to be young, drunk and made some bad choices.  However, if what you are saying is correct about his passing out in public establishments the people around him who are witnessing this need to step up and talk to him about this.  Please do so if you truly do have a relationship with him.

I have enjoyed all the comments on this website and reading the dirt. I have to admit, I'm very bad, my Tiger is RP.  I've been married for 15 years and never had a crush on anyone until the first time he arrived on the mound last year.  It's all so silly isn't it?  It's probably pre-mid life crisis or is mid-life crisis!!  Perhaps its due to the stress in my daily work environment (haha).  I work for a law firm in FH and I need to blame this on someone/something.  Although I am sure the day I actually have a conversation with him, I may feel much differently about him because the reality of his age would surface and my shame probably too.

Maggs is very attractive, ever more so since he cut his hair.  You especially must be very bummed about his injury, as we all are.

I just betcha after his last fiasco in Cleveland he is more discerning about the um, ladies he may take to bed. A growing experience, we all go thru it.

As Magglio won't be in Cleveland, I won't either, but I have front row seats for a game in mid September so hopefully I'll see him there at work. Road trips are just that though, a real trip. Lots of fun, I had a blast when I went alone. I met & talked with Leyland, and a couple of others. Saw almost all of them around the hotel.

I'm sorry to hear about Maggs - how disappointing!  We were at the game on Saturday and couldn't believe Lamont sent him home.  Even Action Jackson couldn't have made it home and he is the fastest runner on the team. 

I will definitely keep in mind if Maggs has to report and will keep in contact through this website.  I would love to join in for the road trip. 

Depending now if Magglio will in fact have to report even with his injury, no road trip without Magglio. Sometimes they make the players show up even if they can't play. If this is the case, then heck yeah, going to Cleveland and it is a lot of fun.
