I wish we could get this bum off the roster.  TRADE HIM while people still think he's any good.  Guy lived off a generous strikezone for his career.  Well, it looks like strasburg is the new "pretty boy" for the league.  So now we see what non favored Halladay pitches like.  20 million for his crap.  Can't hit the zone, can't get out of the 4th.  Garbage, absolute garbage.

Nope sorry kid its in the constitution to speak what you feel if you don't like it then get the f*** out! This is a page why Halladay sucks and I havent seen anything great about him this season I wonder how stupid philly will feel when the brewers eliminate them in the postseason or worse maybe the braves or giants since cody ross is a halladay killer!

How many pitchers pitched a no-hitter in the postseason? Two. Roy Halladay is one of them. Can't say that about any San Fransissy Midgets pitcher. Halladay is a future first ballot Hall of Famer and will be the 2010 Cy Young award winner.

he isn't looking too good right now is he????  and thinks he's tough shit. he'll get knocked out by pat!

I know everyone's entitled to their own opinion and all, but a lot of you guys come across sounding like bitter, jealous morons. How many modern day pitchers do you know not named Roy Halladay who have thrown a no-hitter in the postseason and two no-hitters in one season? Thats exactly what I thought. The man also has the most wins in the league. Talk all the shit you want about him, but I will guarantee that if any of you idiots tried hitting against Halladay that he would smoke you even in his sleep. After all, why do think he's pitching as a professional for a living and you guys aren't?
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Thu, 07 Oct 2010 22:50:16 GMT

he is the best

no hitter against the reds in the playoffs

now that is hard to do

lifetime stats: 168 wins. 86 loses. Total Innings Pitched 2288.1.  Total hits against 2226.  Lifetime ERA of 3.3 and Whip of 1.15.

Has played in the toughest division in baseball, and continiously put on a pitching clinic while playing these tougher teams. As of june, is 18 - 6 lifetime against yankees.

Oh and for the record. When Halladay pitches, almost all the catchers solely catch the ball without much input on signals.

So from this conclusion:

Clearly a) he is the biggest piece of over rated shit

             b) that experience against the yankees gives absolutely 0% advantage when it comes to the Phillies trying to do what they couldn't do last year.

Now, as soon as your done blowin your load to cliff lee (since you know, seems to have been traded another time since the halladay trade), you should probobly turn on a ball game and watch an entire game

Anonymous (Sophomore) wrote on Tue, 21 Sep 2010 22:55:54 GMT
what a dumbass, the phillies are the best team in the national league right now so suck on that.  and halladay has the most wins in the league and is statistically the best pitcher in the majors so yea, i dont think he sucks..... maybe you should look at a newspaper or read a book about baseball before you go posting on the internet, for now stick to analyzing your little league teams
Anonymous (Sophomore) wrote on Mon, 19 Jul 2010 19:51:45 GMT
Jays fan, this is why your team hasn't done anything for quite some time now.  You need to put the pressure on the top guys not pamper them.  Halladay just did a typical Halladay, tons of hits and tons of stupid cutters.  I swear his pitches look so slow, but now the movement is predictable.  He's only good against crap teams, the closer we get to a .500 opponent, the worse he gets.  Only 5 more years of this overatted HR bag.
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Thu, 15 Jul 2010 17:22:44 GMT
Wow you Phillies fans have no respect for the guy! As a Jays fan I think you guys don't have a clue about who you're bashing. He's an amazing leader and sure his stats aren't amazing, but he makes his teammates better.
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Sun, 11 Jul 2010 16:59:07 GMT
roy halladay is the most overrated peice of shit ever. he mother f*kin hunches at the mound. He thinks he's so cool cause he does complete games with 5 er. the stupid phillies cheat and need to stop dominating the shitty nl east.

Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Sat, 03 Jul 2010 16:48:28 GMT
This guy still doesn't know how to keep a lead.  He gets a 3-0 lead and blows it in two innings.  I know the offense struggles, but why does he struggle so much too?  I also think that the phils MUST have him be the top winner for their rotation, hence why bats seem to die when this dumbass can't throw.  His arrogance will cost this team.
Anonymous (Rookie) wrote on Sun, 20 Jun 2010 20:53:01 GMT
I hate this overated bum Halladay.  He can only throw cutters and when he's off (which is often enough) Those cutters land in the hands of fans behind the left, right and center fences.  20 mil a year for some aging, innaccurate and chemistry destroying pitcher.  Phils, you got robbed, Lee was a better man, pitcher and overall player than this crap that runs like an injured antelope.  Get rid of him.

With a win last night, the Pirates have a shot at an improbably 2 game interleague win streak, which I think would be almost as good as a World Series for this floundering franchise. After last night's well played marathon game, Paul Maholm and Jesse Litsch will be taking the mound, attempting to spare the bullpens a bit. After a maddeningly inconsistent start to the year, Maholm's been pretty solid in his past few outings. Litsch, meanwhile, is off to a pretty nice start to 2008, helping Shaun

A day after being hit in the head with a line drive, Toronto’s Roy Halladay said Saturday that he was “fine” and would not miss his next start. The news wasn’t as good for fellow Blue Jays starter Shaun Marcum, who was placed on the 15-day disabled list because of a strained right elbow. Marcum, second in the American League with a 2.65 ERA, was to fly to Florida on Saturday to be examined by Dr.
