Whoever gets him will have to pay $20 million over the next 2 years, $32.5 million if they keep him for the optioned 3rd. It's going to have to be a big-market team, like LA, NY, or BOS. Little teams won't have a chance as the Rays don't have enough cash to take on some of the salary. He should be back with the team just in time for the FL series. He better work on his bat, too. |

I'm not going to get into a technical debate with you, but with the ip, you get the person's service provider. With the service provider, all you need to do is supply them with the ip and they can find out exactly who's house it is coming from. That's how cops catch pedos online. Someone (and Kaz's people can tell you this) was spreading lies about him before when he was with the Mets, and they actually sent the household a cease and desist letter so don't tell me you can't do anything. When you're spreading what's out there, that's fair enough as they are public figures. But when you falsely bring up someone else's name, saying they are dating them and causing that person problems, that crosses the line. |

That's what I mean. Posting specific names of people who have nothing to do with him and saying they are dating him is not only uncool, it's against the site's policy "If you participate in cyber-bullying or defamation, then expect
that your IP address will be given to people who can do something about it." They are having people bothering these other girls, even though it's pure BS. |

Scott is one funny ass dude. He gets high, has fun with his buds, and keeps it all in private, including his love life. That's why I don't believe most of the posts on here. He is careful not to make a fool of himself in public. Did any of you see his interview on HBO last month. I think he was the only one without a jacket or tie. That's the kind of guy Scott is. |

Is scott going to have surgery on his left elbow b/c his strain was not fixed or it healed wrong? This is what I heard. =/ No. He's only resting it this offseason. There was people on the team (staff) who were concerned with it, but they think his resting it up should prepare him well enough for next season. Personal note. I KNOW he or someone on the Rays staff reads this because of their ips and overly-defensive rebuttals. Scott, I know who you're f*cking now hahahaha I'm not going sell you out, but one word: niiiice. |

Yes, but he stays within his own group with some friends from high school and his team mates. Very few players have MySpaces b/c of the clause in the player contract that says MLB owns their images, etc. while they are active MLBers. Technically, the MySpaces run counter to the agreement. It's not really policed by MLB per se...just like riding motorcycles is 'forbidden' but so many of them do ride bikes - even to the ballparks. Any pro athlete with a MySpace is using it for legit marketing purposes OR has no brand contracts so it doesn't matter.
