I sort of feel bad for her. She's obviously out of her element. On the way in to City Hall the day of the parade. The Channel 5 showed her walking and confused. She literally did a 360 not knowing where her place was. It was so sad. Jeter never tried to assure her. Not then or on the float. The videos of her at 1Oak showed her alone too. I read he was partying the night away with his ex's BFF. Why would any girl tolorate that? Don't settle women!

Looks like she was trying to look like Kim Kardashian. She has had work done you can tell. Th last time she looked sexy was in that dress showing her boobs which she use to show off a lot. Now she tries to look like an innocent teenager instead of her age. Jeter must told her not to wear those type dresses again. Her look and dress now as if she tries to dress in the same color whatever Jeter is wearing and dras like Vanessa use to dress but Vanessa was in her early 20s when she started dating Jeter so it worked and look cute on Vanessa. Minka looks like she is trying to dress like a very young Vanessa. Minka is almost 30 year old woman trying to hang on to Jeter by trying to look like a little innocent girl. You can tell she can't think for herself. It will be interesting offseason of she keeps following him around and not promote her movie while other girls with famous boyfriends still find time to promote themselves to get more work and if he will attend events with her since she avoided events to keep up with Jeter because Kate Hudson was making new supporting Arod. Kate is a major star Minka is just known as John mayers ex and Derek Jeters girlfriend or rumored fiancé . Tom Brady denied he was engage to Gisele too and they are married. Jeter lies too about knowing Minka to national sports magazine and I think he is lying now. minka wants to be his wife or she would not stop her career following him around and trying to make sure she was always sitting or standing. I think Minka looked fresh and cute before she died her hair and had plastic surgery. Why do LA girls all do that? It never turns out in their favor. Now she looks like her face is always about to melt off. Her time and money would have been better spent on a good stylist. She lacks style. Her gray roots were screaming out the other day. Minka started dressing and wearing her hair in a ponytail trying to look like she's young 21 year old to keep Jeter interested in her looks. that ponytail and baseball cap is getting old not to mention that baby voice. Without all that make up and eyeliner she looks old and plain. Someone posted a picture of her before she had a makeover. She is a blonde naturally. Dirty blonde hair and very gummy. She was so plain and looks nothing like she looks now. She looks to have work on her nose and chin. Maybe someone can post that picture again and she didn't have her hair extensions. Bad skin too. Derek Jeter had a strategy for handling questions from David Letterman when he and his Yankee teammates have appeared Letterman's show Thursday night. Letterman tells the jokes, but Jeter went on the offensive with him.

jeter gets affectionate in public with girls. He just has a big ego and he knows Minka will allow him to treat her the way he wants. Minka will do whatever it takes to hold on to Jeter. Minka Kelly was always very affectionate in public with John Mayer, hugging, holding hands and kissing in public. I bet she wishes Jeter would treat her that way in public the way he acts in private. Jeter has never been a person who's shown any emotion. He always appears indifferent, and you will never get a reaction out of him. I think with all the excitement attention Derek's head was not straight as far as helping his mother. No knocking Derek and Minka, but I think that A-Rod and Kate's relationship is more legitimate. ARod and Kate don't care about people knowing about their relationship. Derek and Minka seem that they care too much about what others think.

At least Derek walks next to Minka and Minka was on the parade float with him today. With the exception of that one uncomfortable kiss picture you don't even see Kate and A-Rod in the same frame of the picture, plus she was MIA at the parade today. To sum it up, Derek and Minka are seen but not heard and Kate and A-Rod are heard but not seen.

Derek isn't serious about Minka. Hes all about himself and he just confirmed that when he wouldn't even help his mom up on to the float for the parade. I was shocked to see that. He practically climbed over her as she struggled up. And Minka stood behind everyone and looked like she was trying to follow his orders. At one point she tapped him on his back and asked for a picture of the two of them like a fan would. It was grossly odd! He forced a smile then turned away immediately. Hes not a man in love, thats for sure! She doesn't look happy when shes with him. Hes used to dating the worlds most beautiful girls. Ones that make mens heads turn wherever they go. He likes that, but Minka is not that kind of girl. She blends in. She must be hurt after the Lettman interview and all the gossip blogs saying that Derek was with his former gf this week. No knocking Derek and Minka, but I think that A-Rod and Kate's relationship is more legitimate. ARod and Kate don't care about people knowing about their relationship. Derek and Minka seem that they care too much about what others think. Going as far as saying he didn't know he Minka was and not acknowledging her presence at various events. I also think if both couples do end up getting married, I think that ARod and Kate will last because they are more deliberate about what they do and do not want since they were both previously married and will approach marriage more realistically. I think that if Derek and Minka get married I think it will last but won't be happy. I think Minka is only with Derek because of his money and I tthink she wants to have the family that she never had growing up. I think that Derek is only getting married b/c he thinks that having a family is going to make him happy and it continues the image of him having a perfect life.

"Friday Night Lights" shows the many reasons why Derek Jeter fell for Minka Kelly. In the show she plays a teenage cheerleader, and a good one. Recently she has not been on television for her show, but at Yankee games supporting her husband-to-be.

I've never met Derek but have met his parents and his family and they are awesome people. Very simple and down to earth, and private, not showy, so I respect that. I would have loved to meet Derek but just being around his family and love his grandmother (so sweet) was just a true gift to me. They're ordinary people, just like me & you. I have met him three times as well and he was always very rude. At first I was chalking it up to a bad day but three times - no hes just arrogant. Not to just me but others around and this was in his own element and not at an away game or town. I guess you will hear a mixture of things and experiences from other people. He is human. To the gf who thought Jeter was rude to her bf. You have to put yourself in his shoes for a second. He is in Philly, where 98% of the fans are not on his side. He can’t go anywhere without people breathing down his neck. He is a very private person and given that he was out of his element (NYC) he was probably extra cautious. I met Derek, Minka and his friends on vacation this winter and they were extremely nice and friendly. I did not tell him I was a admirer as I did not want to be that doting fan that I’m sure he gets every day of his life. He is extremely well rounded and presents himself in a way most people dream of. I was worried that if I met him, he wouldn’t be as great as I had envisioned. He was truly a nice person. Minka actually was too, and took the time to ask me questions like where I was from. Love to hate her, but it’s pretty hard! I’m sure it was no disrespect to your bf. Read section from 60 minutes below. I would be the same way.

The Yankees are in town for the World Series, and lucky me I just met, not one, but two of them at the Starbucks on 19th and Market. First, Andy Pettitte walked in with family in tow. My boyfriend is definitely credited with recognizing him first. Yup, his profile can't be mistaken. As he was waiting for his drink, bf introduced himself and emphatically praised his superb pitching last night in Game 3. Andy was cordial, advising bf to be careful in Phillies' territory.

Bf was ecstatic and commented that his life would be complete if he only met Derek Jeter.

Twenty minutes later, Derek Jeter walked in with four-person entourage, including girlfriend (and rumored fiancee?), Minka Kelly. Regretting the fact that he didn't capture his moment with Pettitte, bf respectfully introduced himself to Jeter, praised him profusely, and then humbly asked if he wouldn't mind taking a picture. Jeter never cracked a smile, and very reluctantly acquiesced to the picture, standing about 20 feet away from bf as he posed…with a stoic expression.

After I took the picture, I overheard Minka tell Jeter that "he was a good man," possible to calm him down (he was visibly perturbed).

Give me a freaking break, Jeter. I'll admit that you're a talented baseball player, but you need to understand that its your fans who've given you celebrity. Being a celebrity comes with the responsibilities of giving back to the community, and that includes being nice. It doesn't take much - really, a no-skin-off-your-back situation. Bf has admired you his entire life, you've been his idol since the beginning. You are the one celebrity he's been dying to meet, and what do you do? You can't get off your high horse for one minute to think of someone else. All you had to do was crack a smile or even thank him for the compliments. But you couldn't even do that, you SOB. Frankly, I couldn't care less about who you are, but after today, I hope you fail. Miserably. You need a wakeup call because your ego is clearly too big for this world.
