Chapman has never been good. He got had problems in Cincinnati and did horrible in the playoffs with the Cubs. Seems like nobody did their homework.

He shouldn't be the closer anymore.

Chapman's problem is he has no confidence. He's been terrible ever since he got arrested on domestic violence only throwing 100 mph instead of the usual 103-104 mph. He needs to beat women to build his confidence back.

Why does Girardi keep parading this POS out?
It's like letting a big fat yellow jacket bee buzz you without swatting it away. How many run lead is safe with Chapman? "Give up a homer" Chapman rides again

Its Girardi's fault sticking with him as a closer.

Robertson is the best of the three and not even that close. Betances struts around the mound after every pitch,as to extend the drama and allow the batter to get set. Mariano Rivera never allowed this, he would fire the ball as soon as he got it back from the catcher, Robertson the same way, and they both have terrific control and location. Betances can be wild at times and Chapman is wild all the time!

It's Joe Girardi's fault. This guy can't get three outs in the ninth to save his soul. Everyone cringes when he starts the ninth we all know with absolute certainty that he's never going to retire the order 1-2-3. Monkey man (Girardi), got testy after the game when a Post reporter had the audacity to suggest perhaps a change in the closer role. That was the most important game of the year to date and when Chapman started the ninth, I knew the game was lost. Ever notice that shit on a stick starts striking out people when the opposition has already tied the game. Which makes me hate him even more!!!!

If I had to choose between Clippard & Chapman, I would take Clippard all day long.

At least Clippard is gone

Also, he sweats more than anyone I've ever seen... oh wait. I know why. He wears a damn turtleneck every day even if it is 99 degrees out.

That was the biggest game of our season so far and he blows it AGAIN! He is absolutely abysmal and he makes me sick every time he goes out to pitch.

Yankees deserve it for getting rid of Andrew Miller - dumbest trade in history.

As soon as it left the bat you knew it was a home run - this guy is worse than Joba Chamberlain.

You know he sucks when he is sweating like a pig
